When it comes to cute groups, OH MY GIRL is exceptional and it's rare for me to get into cute girl groups since I like sexy concepts or krnb / khiphop music genre. OMG have a lot of good music and also AMAZING CHOREOGRAPHY THAT NEVER TIRES ME. I just love watching them perform. I don't know, I find them unique. I can say they are underappreciated but then again not alot of people know them. So they are somewhat underrated too. 😭

The word "wind('baram 바람' in Korean)" has the symbolic allusion in the Korean culture to "sexual/sensual/romantic escapade." For example, when the Koreans say "She's arousing wind ('바람 피우다 baram piuda' in Korean), they're saying that "She's having an affair," the kind that's out of wedlock, illicit, and therefore usually immoral. It's a strong expression of condemnation usually. And here the song title is "Windy Day." What would that mean for a young girl, not married, in her teens probably, and innocent? The girls are using such a strong word "wind" of social connotation to express the kind of strong romantic arousal they're experiencing, perhaps for the first time in their lives, because of the presence of a heartthrob that they have the crush on. And you saw a glimpse of stag with magnificent horn in the forest. So the day is "windy"! The "Egyptian scale" is thrown in the song musically to express the kind of tingling flutters in your heart of expectation thinking about the guy the heartthrob.

After waiting the best part of a year for this review (as said below, this song really is /legendary/), it was absolutely worth it. They were so interested and bemused by the chords and passage of the song and I'm so happy. It's one of my absolute favourites and clearly for good reasons. It's catchy, musically interesting, fun... I don't agree that it goes on too long though. I'd need a cut-down version first to test the theory, but it feels fine to me. The bridge and the silence help a lot.

I think they won't react to Closer because musically, it is quite basic. There isn't a lot of technical stuff to react to. I don't mean this in a bad way. Closer is, by far, my absolute favourite Oh My Girl song and choreography, but the song itself, however epic, is not musically interesting.

I know they have a list of requests that are all scheduled. I think they try to stick to that as much as they can. I'm sure a lot more people are requesting though so I'm not sure if they are prioritizing certain reactions, but if Closer was requested a while ago I have a feeling they will get around to it eventually.

that chordal movement in katie and jarod noticed during the chorus repeated itself during the four lines prior to the "Windy day~ windy day~" portion of the chorus going in A major do, re, mi, fa (instead of fi) and ending on sol into flat 6 for "Windy Day" which i thought was really good modal mixture.
