I appreciate your appreciation of HuaHua. Lots of us pretty much worship the ground he walks on. He's far more creative than everybody else out there. I'm 70 and have heard a lot of music in my lifetime. I've enjoyed a tremendous amount of it, but recently I've felt that pop music has mostly gone down the tubes. Too little authenticity/not enough heart. HuaHua brings both to his music. He did 6 concerts at the end of November and beginning of December. Each concert featured a new song he had written but not yet released. They were all terrific, but one in particular would make a great reaction for you. It's called FLOWER IN A SMALL TOWN and is about the practice of Buddhism and the illusions of the physical universe. For whatever reason, it made the audience cry, and also me, even though the lyrics are not sad. Just a warning. For something a little less emotional, try FLIGHT MODE or BLACK AND WHITE ARTIST. Both are playful.

From my watching/listening to most of the songs HuaHua has ever done in public, I think he breaks more singing "rules" more often than pretty much any singer I can think of. For instance, If you revisit your first HuaHua video reaction to "Child", you'll find his tongue position when he's belting goes very much against singing orthodoxy. He also deliberately uses grit/vocal fry in ways that drive most vocal coaches crazy. I think part of that stems from him having had a music teacher that disliked him for his improvisations, which I think only spurred HuaHua on to improvise more.

I agree. Hua Hua always puts his whole heart into every song he sings. He has written new songs with different musical styles (as usual). One of them, "Black and white artist", has an interesting message to the "haters". "Flight mode", "Flower in a small town", "I really want myself back" have deep messages about dealing with some life circumstances. They are wonderful.

It was just gossip as far as I know. Actually both of them denied they were together on separate occasions. At the time of this performance, Gem has been in a relationship with her stylist for over (at least) a year.

Nice reaction. G.E.M. is a super talented singer song-writer, she is the queen of C-Pop and her stage performances are phenomenal. Nice that you previewed the song lyrics. Yes, Gloria Tang Tsz Kei is a great artist & singer, her music goes across many variations of different styles. You should also look into her music, she is a very well recognized Asian singer. She has been coached by Mr. Seth Riggs during her musical career, also I believe she had a medical issue in her jaw, she considered surgery when she was very young but thought it to be to risky. But, she can open her mouth when the song calls for it, this is just the way she likes to sing her song. After Nanping Evening Bell, this was somewhat of a letdown. Their voices didn't quite harmonise as well. I thought there instances when they sounded just a wee bit discordant. Well, maybe that's just me.

I think you don't know too much on G.E.M. She is a super talent and intelligent musician. There are many possibility of G.E.M. She is a song writer, music producer. She put all of her live stories into her songs lyrics, so you will find out there are a lot of emotion on her own songs. Also, She's able to adapt any type of song such as: Classic, pop, rock, EDM, Rap, Jazz, Opera, Funky, R & B, Gothic music. etc...
