she sang that 100% live--nobody does that---and that performance is another example of NOT overplaying the song--just her and a piano, no crazy runs, etc.

for me there have been 4 performances (tied to the Oscars)that should make it plain to ANYONE WITH A FUNCTIONAL BRAIN (and ears) that she is not just some pop diva. This performance, her performance of "Til It Happens To you", duet with Bradley Copper of "Shallow", and "Hold My Hand" from Top GUn2. She has one Oscar and several nominations. I daresay she will be a longtime presence in the music side of Oscars, if not for her acting.
