I think any halfway informed shooter knows the TX22 is the best bang for the buck, especially considering all the barrel issues sig had at launch they should’ve been on another list. I think the Smith & Wesson M&P Compact .22 LR deserves a spot on the list for it’s super reliability. It eats up the crappiest ammo and spits it down range. Not disagreeing with the choices on the list, just food for thought. I bought mine on sale for 275.00 (11 years ago) and both of my daughters have learned to shoot with it. If they made an updated version with a 20 capacity and kept it compact, it would be a hit.

I shoot mostly cheap bulk ammo to keep my price down and my sig p322 will handle any of it. I am fan of diamondback’s pistol for the price, but also like the other ‘modern’ style revolutions…. Makes policing your brass ‘urban’ environments a lot easier

The Browning and Ruger are given. Glad your went with the sig p322 over other similar offerings. I understand the heritage, but would have gone with the S&W 617 for a 22lr revolver.
