Did you need cut a new hole for shifter?

Yes, it's a few inches back from the original hole.

Gotcha thanks . I got a 4 speed now with a 350. Transmission is giving me issues so I was thinking of upgrading to t56 since long term I’m going to do the ls swap

Probably. It wont be in the way now but it definitely will be when I go turbo.

What kind of degreaser do you use/recommend?

I use ZEP heavy duty degreaser.

400ish NA then when that feels slow I will go turbo and shoot for 600-700.
