The old CRKT's certainly have a particular look about them. Think it would be cool if they could, circle back around, and incorporate that old school signature look into some of there new stuff. Fyi, I picked up my, one a day vitamins today while at the pharmacy today. I havent actually taken it yet, but I feel great about the idea of feeling great. I have the full size version of the Wasp. I have been carrying this as my EDC for at least twenty years. It as my very first internet purchase wayyyy back when. The "full size" is a great little EDC task knife and it has been on many, many adventures. It's slim in the front pocket and doesn't dig into your leg while in the driving position. I have used the butt of the knife to chip and break bagged ice and the blade takes a good edge and holds it well. I like this knife so much that I bought another NIB Old Stock on Amazon about ten year ago and it sits in reserve for the day I retire my first one.

I bought two of those when Big 5 had then on closeout yeaarrss ago. They discontinued the Ti and went with steel after a while, there's semi serrated and non serrated models. The thing I have never liked about these knives is, they were way too chunky for what they were and the thumbstuds were a bad idea. Bad pocket clip but most knives had crappy clips back then. I want to say there was three sizes of this knife. I have the small and larger version. My favorite older knives. CRKT S2 Kershaw Starky Ridge

Really cool knife. CRKT had so many great designs that I’m sure other companies took inspiration from.. I don’t really have any classics except an Mcusta Stingray, 10-12 years old on Teflon and smooth. Also an Mcusta MC1 in ebony wood. They are a strange company. They might still make the MC1 but not in ebony wood, it comes with a tip down, right side clip. Their MC2 model is the same but wider and no clip. They are also called the Basic 1 and 2. When they translated from Japanese, they must have got that word but not the best for a product. I have an old (10 plus years) Lion Steel Opera that is in G10, D2 and back lock. It was $90 plus new. I had an original Spyderco Rock Lobster but no idea where it is..People have no clue how lucky they are now with all the new knife choices and better pricing.

Makes me wonder when CRKT stopped using acceptable materials. Anyone know when they fell off the wagon? Maybe don't use 20% of your video on wasted fake sponsors. Pretty obvious you're trying to get your videos longer, just saying.

They pretty much stopped using Taiwan in the last five years. They still do some different materials but not on this level. But why would I be trying to make my videos longer? That doesn't make sense to me.

@@JTsKnifeLife Its well known that a content creator should make videos at least 10 minutes long. If you removed just the funny sponsor portion in this video, you would have been seconds shy of 10 minutes. Is it coincidental, maybe, maybe not. Whatever it is, I don't really care, was just throwing in some fluff like your sponsor.

I think that applies to channels that are monetized, because at the 10 minute mark they can get more ad revenue. I'm not monetized though, so I just add crappy fluff for the sake of the enjoyment it gives me. I certainly don't really need a reason to Ramble over ten minutes hahaha, it usually happens anyway. 🤣
