It's so nice of you to update on your situation since we are all wondering. I'm glad the school and your home were spared damage. I live close enough to the panhandle to have experienced my share of hurricanes and storm damage over the years. Luckily nothing major just tree and roof damage. In 2018 Hurricane Michael took out much of the town where I taught which is 45 minutes from my home.

I have lived in Florida my whole life and know how serious hurricanes can be. We were very lucky to have minor damage around our area.

We got some of Ian here in NC and I didn't even think about what I'll do when I got back tomorrow if there is water damage or wind damage

I follow a couple on twitch that live in central Florida and it amazes me they streamed through the worse of the storm and never lost power

I am becoming faster at doing my slides. I still type up a VERY brief lesson plan as well just to track my plans and then I update the slides based on that. It was hard it the beginning for sure!
