Other devs would close the case on this quest right at getting paid, but Obsidian wrote this guy excellently, in that even when he’s been made on his side-dealing and abuse, he doesn’t know to stop himself, and lets his ambition consume him.

Plus, hopefully, the greater workload and responsibilities might help with his self-control. If he truly wants to be better, now he has the opportunity.

In my current playthrough, when I did this quest, I convinced Cachino to help. This resulted in all three of them dying, but I still completed the quest. I just left the room, closed the door behind me and used a console command to lock it (I have the key to the door after all, so it'd make sense that I can lock the damn thing). No one seems to know what happened, and I'm considered "part of the family". I can't help but wonder how the Omertas are gonna handle the sudden "disappearance" of the three highest-ranking guys in the family.

But Gommorah? I honestly don't want to open the doors half the time to that hellhole. From Clanden's "snuff tapes" that honestly make me sick to my stomach, to Joana's honest-to-god kidnapping just so they can make some quick bottlecaps... Gommorah is just evil, even by _Mojave Wasteland_ standards. And those standards are already set _pretty damn low._

To make the point home, in the Bible, Gomorrah was the second of twin cities that God destroyed in the Book of Job because the people in those cities were awful bastards who indulged in sin and degeneracy. I think the Sodom equivalent in New Vegas is Nipton, that Caesar's Legion destroyed for similar reasons.

The reason why you don’t get the Pimp Boy 3 Billion after taking the “Find the blackmail in Sal’s office” way to finish the quest, is because you have to talk to Sal in order to relieve Troike of his contract and “get them to buy from Mick and Ralph again”. At least supposedly.

I don’t know if you’ll see this Ox, but this quest was glitched for me. I went downstairs (without even being on the quest) and went to this room, and the girl on the table was “dead” but she was up, and walking around. When you talk to her, the description comes up, and she doesn’t have dialog, but she has voiced lines like the other girls in the casino. It was so weird lol

In my game, I lied to Big Sal and told him that I was working for Nero, but when the dialogue ended, Nero opened fire first killing Sal and Cachino due to the spread. Still completed the quest when I killed Nero.

After completing this mission, I let Cachino go so he could rule over the casino. After getting all the perks, the best guns in the game, the best affinity with all the good factions, the best armor, all locations discovered, all quests I could find completed, all deathclaw including the mothers and Legion settlements destroyed, I uninstalled the game after beating it including all the DLC's. I never heard all sides of the story however, I thought Cachino and the other thugs were just creeps. After hearing what they did to those innocent women, especially how they forced Joanna to work for them and kicked out Carlitos after taking her in just because he fell in love with her... I personally grabbed the most overpowered gear in the game, walked into Gomorrah and blew the place to hell until I made it to Cachino (Nobody innocent was hurt.). I don't think I need to tell you what happened when I found Cachino.

Why do all the doors have the Masonic logo on them? Anyone else ever notice that? I always wondered the real reason. I can't recall anything in game or otherwise that explains it. So I just made a story up for myself, that pre-war it was a Masonic Lodge where all sorts of weird, crazy, Vegas-y, Masonic-y shit went down.

You can also get the quest after you complete getting the Khans on the NCR side or destroying them and then going to the embassy after talking to Colonel Moore at Hoover Dam
