It's okay I got into it with a guy a few days ago who was saying there were no options in this game he had only seen ox play and I'm pretty sure the dude though ox was done with the series the way he was talking. New Vegas is a big game in a small package, amazing for a year of development.

Another opportunity to kill pacer is shown during the "Birds of a Feather" quest. When Pacer comes to the door during your guard duty, you get the opportunity to threaten and kill him. This is a great option as you can both continue your NCR quest and the Van Graffs see it as a good deed, as they hate the man.

You seem to always start your videos with an opening of various scenes from your playthroughs as well as some very catchy music from the game. For my money that gives some very nice eye candy and invokes a sense of increased interest in what's to come. You always follow that with an explanation of what's to come and follow that with the many different methods of completing the task at hand. I still think the best option is to go Colonel Hsu's route - that way, there is a fair exchange between the two parties that everyone can see and feel and the rogue elements within the Kings are eliminated. If we call in the King's favor, the following peace rest on just one man while the attitude towards the NCR remains the same, only not so expressed. If the King were to die in, I don't know, a coup from his own ranks, then the deal ends with his life. Colonel Hsu's proposition is an olive branch that also does some good for Freeside.

Interestingly enough, there is cut content of a speech check with Pacer during the part where he rebels against the King. He was going to speak to you and a check of 75 would've made him back down and accept Colonel Hsu's deal.

Music fanatic here. Loved the intro. Friendly advice: military marches need more than just brass to make the brass parts mean more. The brass parts are really important as traditionally a brass calling horn is used to signal stuff in battle. Your production value is great that's why I feel comfortable giving a tip for improvement.

Just recently I did an NCR run and this part bothered me the most. I was unaware so I used up my favor. I can understand the NCR cutting down the Khans because they're raiders and they antagonized the NCR and it's citizens since pretty much since forever, but the Kings? They're only protecting their territory, and really only when the NCR citizens lash out on Freeside citizens, which isn't too hard to understand because NCR is moving in on them. If the NCR citizens would go back where they came from there wouldn't really be any problems.

The thing about Colonel Moore is that she's not exactly in the best position in the world. she has a lot on her mind, True the whole situation with the kings could be handled way better then the way she went about doing it. But when people are stressed they don't tend to make the most level headed choices. So saying that she's all knives and bullets isn't exactly fair in my book, Besides. Pacer is slime on the best of days. as much as I wanted to pop him for what he tried to do with the NCR Relief effort, I chose the diplomatic path because I figured in the long run, that would work better.

my dad heard the beginning of the video with your rendition of the mamas and papas "all the leaves are brown". He was in Vietnam and seeing the intro, he started crying, remembering the things he saw, the things he did, the things he's told me, and then things that hell never tell me. It was good for him because he never shows emotion about it, so I'm happy he broke down a bit and got it out of his system. This game is more real and true to life than people think.

Correction one person wanted to shoot, General Moore, everyone else wanted to talk. If that wasn't the case do you think Crocker would have been allowed to continue his several month long attempts at diplomacy? This is a sign of the great nobility of the NCR.

I've been really digging the California Dreaming military orchestra intros for the NCR videos in this series. Nothing else to say really except I've always liked your videos since I started watching during my first New Vegas playthrough to get some better lore context as it was my first Fallout game and will always be my favorite even after playing 2 3 and 4 all the way through New Vegas just has a charm that I love so much and will always hold a special place in my heart along with games like the Mafia series, LA Noire, and the Saints Row series (up until their spin off games like Gat out of Hell and I would even say 4 was a drawn out spin off) though my first game of the themed genre was New Vegas and it is solely repsonsible for sparking my love for organized crime style games.

4:46 Well he obviously gets through the day by huffing jet 24/7. Stimulants will do that to you. Pretty common for people who do lots of cocaine and or amphetamines to stay up for closer to 24-48 hours than 16-20 hours most people try to do. Hell some will stay up for close to a week at a time before they go to sleep. Making them much more prone to paranoia and delusions, especially if they abuse other drugs like alcohol and marijuana. Some will use stimulants to stay up for that long, and then drink or use other drugs like benzos and opiates so they can sleep while coming off their DOA. Though that often leads to poly abuse which make all their problems generally worse. Be very responsible and use in moderation if you do choose to partake. Fallout is out of my favorite games for many reasons, but one is it actually shows the positive and negative effects that taking drugs can have on an individual.

The confrontation between the Kings and NCR is sadly one of the closest thing to squad tactics or a decent sized confrontation you ever see, and it's so obscure even people who played for years never see it. You have to go through a very specific set of circumstances, and few people would imagine the game designers were actually hoping you would, and had a great set piece ready for it. It also finally shows people up close and personal why the NCR are NOT "the good guys."

I love games like the fallout series or the witcher. You get so much value from them if u play them like u do and actually pay attention to whats happening instead of running thru. The hrs I've got out of new Vegas and fallout 4 are crazy. I'm sure I've not found every detail yet
