This turned out so cute! It has such a cool texture to it and I think that it being semi-3d makes it really interesting to look at.

Wow... that looks so tedious to make! You really are showing us fun projects lately, I'm loving it! Giving plasticine texture looks harder that I would've thought. But I think it turned out super cool! Yay ♥

That looks incredibly adorable!! I do agree with the dark purple. Looks like a background more suited for a Christmas scene. And the light purple more for the springy Easter theme. But it still look so cute. Pro tip for old dry polymer clay. Put it in a baggy with a few drops of baby oil and then mix it up in the baggy. Use a rolling pin to condition it and also use warmth. Although be careful using too much heat as it will cause it to bake a tiny bit making it even harder to work with though. The baby oil will add a little moisture to the clay making it easier to work with. The baggy will save you from making a big ol mess and the rolling pin will save your fingers. Love the piece though. It is adorable.

Everyone in the livestream was telling me to use baby oil, but I didn't have any. And I said "What's baby oil?" and it started a whole thing, lol.

In Sweden we have something called "påsk ris" which ruffly translates to "easter twigs". We use twigs, branches or even small trees to decorate with different coloured feathers, we then put them up around the outside of our houses. Oh, and we have "påsk kärringar" too, the witches that go to Blåkulla every year, no easter bunny, just witches.

How cute it turned out! It's a really great ide to "paint with clay". I remember when I was a kid my mother made one christmas-themed "painting" using clay and I always found it so pretty and magical. The clay can really bring life and depth to a painting, I defenetly want to try make one for myself in the future :)

We here in the Netherlands have something similar to Easter trees. "Paastakken", which basically means Easter branches. And you also hang decorations from them, usually eggs well not real eggs.

You would love The Country and the Little Gold Shoes. It is an older book but it is available on all book retailers. My mother read it to me every Easter when I was a child. It is written by Dubose Heyward and illustrated by Marjorie Flack. I'm an artist too and when I was a child the illustrations just were so wonderful to me. I have actually made my own embroidery patterns by using photocopies of the images. Personal use only. Anyway thought I would recommend that.

In my home country Sweden easter trees are really common, almost as common as christmas trees. Everyone collects branches and puts coloured feathers on them, sometimes other decorations too like small eggs or chickens.

I don't think we have it anymore since my mom got rid of a lot of the holiday decorations once me and my brother grew up, haha. This came out super cute, though, I might give it a try some day!!
