1. They wear/do things that you like/are into 2. They're using mind games/reverse psychology/showing hot and cold behaviors (they get close to you one moment and then push away another) 3. Doing things to make you play your hand (mentioning that they're dating other people, saying certain things, to elicit a response from you) 4. They're "seemingly" unimpressed by your positive accomplishments 5. They discourage you from romantically pursuing them ("Let's be friends", "you deserve better than me", etc etc)

I agree, the others encourage NC a little too much. NC is good for getting over the initial hurt, but if you find yourself reconnecting emotionally with your ex within a few months post break up (like I am), Clay's advice really works. She (very angry) said maybe you should just wash your hands with me so you can move on and do what you want and not feel guilty! I said what? No, I don’t want to move on. I want you. After the phone conversation she blocked me on everything. Is that crisis point/mode? She’s mad that I’m not sitting home moping sad, I’ve been spending time with my friends/family, going places trying to stay busy so I don’t feel overwhelmingly sad.

@@jamesg8141 look into BPD… my ex struggles with anxiety. Until recent events, that’s all I thought it was. But once I looked int BPD I see where BPD correlates with our entire relationship. Dave demarco and AJ mahari have really informative Chanels on here. Keep your head up friend. It’s been a little over a month and I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. Find friends to talk to, don’t hold it in or beat yourself up. It’s a struggle but take care of yourself. More than likely she blames you for things that aren’t your fault, avoiding accountability. I’m separated 6 months the with my wife and her chief complaint for why she isn’t back is she believes I’m going to go back on my old ways. Last month reconciliation was on the table as we were hanging out quite a bit. Her mother went through something life threatening and she pulled away about 30 days ago. We went from her saying if we get back together around the end of June she would go on a trip with me then practically overnight we went from flirting to her talking about divorce again. What does it mean when you’ve gone 8 months no contact and they block you out of nowhere when you both don’t even speak. I never watched his page because it was hurtful, but noticed his name was blanked out when mutual friends tagged him. Kinda sounds like my situation except for I got to my exes house. I left because she told me the day I left “At least he tells me he loves me!” I was so depressed well before the day I left. I begged and pleaded, she finally starting to show interest in me again. Then while she was leading me on she was still having her rebound over. I call it a part time bf because she hardly sees the dude. Long story short once I decided to stop asking to see my daughter everyday(because I would ask everyday if I could see her as she refuses to make a schedule with me) and no contact in general unless about our child, she’s been trying to bait arguments, I ignore it. She hates being ignored. Maybe you’ve been playing your cards right and your ex is starting to look at her feelings towards you again. The longer you ignore her and the more you focus on yourself and your child the more she will fear of missing out. Especially if you’re really making changes in life and tying up all of those loose ends. She will notice, and she will eventually try to get back with you. Now is she working on herself too? Who knows, I usually just try to pay attention to their actions. Words don’t mean shit to me anymore.. hope all is well! If you need someone to vent to get at me and we will figure something out.
