Hi Deb I don't know if you will get to read this but I am so sorry and sad that you have stopped doing your tutorials. I have gone through KZbin and the Internet and yours were with out a doubt the best ones. I have learnt a lot (and spent a lot of money 😅😅) from you but I understand why you have stopped. Why can't people just not watch your tutorials instead of being spiteful. Anyway all the best to you and I hope that one day you might start up again. All the best Debbie from Eastbourne in the UK

I’d be so sad if you stopped! Your tutorials are incredibly well done and I enjoy them so very much. You can do them and block the trolls! I know you may have personal reasons for stopping, but you are incredibly talented and listening to you is a joy! Best of luck with your artistic career and I, for one, will wait and hope you come back!!!

Your tutorials are enjoyable to watch and are so beautiful. I watch them just for fun and getting my creative mood going. I like your voice and the simple video format. I don't particularly enjoy tutorials with repetitive simple music and no speaking, even when they are only a few minutes long. I play KZbin on my TV and having a voiceover is more pleasant while I'm doing things and not looking at my screen. I hope you resume your tutorials. I just found your channel and I'm so impressed and inspired by your creativity. ❤

These are absolutely beautiful! You are so brilliantly talented. I truly love your work and the time you share with us here on you tube. I picked up from a few comments that you are thinking of stopping, I certainly hope it’s not from comments of rude and ignorant people. It seems to be that way everywhere these days. I’m in the USA and as an old lady I have seen and heard much, but these times are troubling. I know you need to go with your heart, but I pray all things are well with you and you will return.❤

Thank you so much! We really do live in troubled times, and there are a lot of troubled people who take their anger, bitterness, etc, out on me and others. I also think they make nasty comments online, because it allows them to let out some of their negative emotions, without consequence. However, I was all out of ideas, and all out of steam. It was time to step away and focus more on the selling side of things. I’m currently working towards setting up an online shop. After that, we will see… Your prayers are appreciated 🙏

These turned out very pretty. Your flowers were amazing. ❤ I made a few flower canes and used translucent clay for the area between the petals and covering it. I sliced the canes super thin. I placed them on white clay and burnished well. After baking, I could see the dip of the translucent in the white clay. I was so disappointed. The way you burnished your pieces worked great. Another way is to use an acrylic block to press on the veneer first, then use the soap. But I liked how the edges on your leaves and white/gold circles flared a little. ❤ Thanks!

Deb, I went to your Amazon store. I need a new Atlas, mine is very old. I want you to get commission. When I open item from your store it just goes to the regular page like if I was to do a normal search. Is that correct? Will they pay you commission by opening thru your store? I need a few other items also. If you give me an email I can send you what I’ve bought to make sure you get commission. Or is Facebook messenger better?
@clayboutique3 ай бұрын
Yes, that’s correct. As long as you click on it from my storefront, I’ll get the commission.

I believe this is the least fussy, least pretentious tutorial about making canes that I have seen in 10(?) years of watching polymer clay tutorials. I feel your marketing pain. I've had an Etsy shop since 2015, but don't work on it much because it is a PAIN, and I've made two sales in 9? years? I also have a WIX subscription, but haven't learned how to use that yet. Like you, I have a growing collection of pendants and earrings that just need to be finished - findings, sometimes resin. I also haven't participated in any weekend markets this year. But, I must play with clay.
@clayboutique5 ай бұрын
Thank you! I try to keep it simple, and easy to follow. Yeah, marketing is not my skill, unfortunately, and I tend to get too bogged down with tutorials to really push the selling part. Like you…I MUST clay, so my collection is just growing and growing.
