I am sold - your teaching method and experience has been extremely helpful, so my next true investment will likely be in education via some of your courses. I am a severe autodidact, even taught myself enough computer science to make it as a computer scientist for NASA. However, there is so much value in understanding the details and nuances in finance/investing that I think it's worth bringing in an expert like you to learn from. After watching a lot of your work, I think our beliefs and expectations are pretty much aligned, so it should work out well. Thank you for all of the FREE stuff you put out here, even just that has been a massive gold mine of info, and I know it takes time, and time is money. So thank you very, very much for that.

Awesome! I offer lots of free stuff for sure, but yeah, I have no problem admitting it's just "the tip-of-the-iceberg" when it comes to the premium content I offer.

i took me 6 months to learn about this 20 minute video from reading just books. i'm starting to see how spending a bit more on my knowledge may have saved me an abundance of time.

That takes quite a bit of "setting the ego aside" to realize and admit that. Well done on your part.

@@claytrader absolutely, pride was guiding my thoughts. learn how to make money by myself to prove i'm smart. i would've learnt all i needed under 1 year instead of 3.

@@claytrader in order for me to have learned what you've explained here required patience and live price action to confirm my theory. what if i'm one step away from consistency and it'll take me another 6 months to develop it and you'll help me in 20 minutes again. $2000 for 6 months of my life. i'll think about it.

I have done your introduction to options course and I am excited about options, I want to do level 2 and then technical analysis, paper trade options for a while and later subscribe to the inner circle. Would the basic understanding of these 3 courses, options, level 2 and then technical analysis be adequate education to get started?

+ Jacques Malan not sure why it won't let me reply. Anyways, to answer your question, those are all "pieces of the pie". The entire pie itself is this - claytrader.com/university/ I appreciate you trying to be as efficient as possible, but you need the full pie, not just "pieces of the pie" in order to gain the full picture of how to trade.

Hi Clay, I really enjoy your teaching style. I am interested in learning Forex as well as Binary Options/High Frequency Pocket Options. Is this something that you have experience in and can teach? If so, which course or course would be better for me? I am a beginner. Again, I am only interested in Forex and High Frequency Trading/Pocket Options.

I subscribed to your channel about a week ago. I am seriously thinking of looking into/buying your courses. I love how you're so straight forward and don't sugar coat things. Asides from your courses, do you suggest taking any specific college classes? Probably a dumb question or who knows but I'm very motivated and interested in investing in my future. I'm in my 20s and rather put money and effort into it right now than be completely lost and stressed when I'm older. Not saying this will prevent me stress but it sure will help me handle it better. Any other suggestions or feedback you may want to add, is very much appreciated.

Clay, how long did you study technical analysis before you jumped in to trading real money with options? How long, on average, do you see or recommend someone study technical analysis before live trading?
@claytrader9 жыл бұрын
+dddman777 I jumped into stocks way before ever doing options. I studied hardcore in college for quite some time. Don't know an exact time frame, but I know it was by no means an "overnight success" type deal. How long should someone study? There is no answer to that because we are all different in regards to how fast our mind absorbs things. I'm biased with this, but I believe my trainings are done in a way that will "make sense" the quickest for people and therefore allow them to understand the fastest.

ClayTrader Reading the Intelligent investor by Ben Graham would be a good start right? But I see what you are doing is completely different, is it still a good option too get some of the basics from what is considered the Bible of investing?

I find technical analysis works best with stocks, which have the most comprehensive data (namely volume). Forex isn't so good for me since volume isn't publicly available
@claytrader8 жыл бұрын
+Kosovo Report What do you mean? Forex has the most liquidity (volume) of any market in the world.
@CentsTwo8 жыл бұрын
I mean you can't see the exact quantity of currency traded. Unlike stocks where you can see like 3.5 million shares traded today, you can't see how much EURO was exchanged for USD.

Me no trade, if me no see volume. That's what the monkey in me says. To me it's like missing half or even more than half the picture. After I got proficient with my analysis approach, I always needed volume. It increased my winning trades so much more. Overall I just love volume.
