Thanks for the video, I drove a 1973 RX4 13B 5speed coupe in the 1980's. Mine was the one the pac boys & some new zealanders might have heard about. Good 13" chrome wheels, etc. the best car I have ever driven, (except for rear brakes), great/gorgeous looking outside, mine had a sports steering wheel change inside also contributing to one of the best cockpit style dash gauge clusters ever standard by a manufacturer in my opinion. I have never had a 'driving feeling' of love like that with any other car. With mine I went through 3 high performance fuel pumps, one coil was sometimes causing starting issues when it rained, but the rotary engine fabulous after a refresh a bit after I bought it. And the 48mm webber just needed a drop of oil once every 3 months. I never put the pedal flat to the floor, but did try 10,750rpm a couple times in the late 80s' (good for 11k), when I had it singing big time.

@@ClayWong i have 1 that’s all original, currently for sale on car sales actually it’s the red 1. And the other I’ve owned for 20 years never been registered but had 6 engines in it lol, started a full car rebuild in 2018 and will finally be finished this year, love all your content mate 🤙🏼

Exactly the coupe is the Grande Tourismo car (GT), designed for winding country roads, not city driving. The car was in its element, amazing when I used to drive it up the mountains.

My car in the '80s used Lucas brand lights, which where the traditional sealed tungsten filament type. Normally the high beam lights sit where the holes he put on this car are, so I guess he is using a dual filament headlight.

Love it but I think the sedans still take the cake for me. I think it's the taillights on the four door that make it, but I like the coupe rear end shape better. Yeah they used to be so cheap.
