@@kingcroc senglee doesn't know what he's talking about clearly never had a 4x4 or a anything with an LS in it. With the amount of torque LS can produce its getting over a lot more than a pebble.

Loved the video bro, am rebuilding my 1995 80 series at the moment,, all done by me as I can’t afford to pay someone. 383 stroker with a turbo should be good for 700-800hp, just hope the box and driveline hold up once it’s all done

I try to shy away from forced induction on a real world used 4x4. If an injector goes bad on some trail far from home it's going to be a bad day.

Doesn't help that it's had a body lift, but the bar is at standard height. Check out the gap, makes it look off. Rest of the car looks good for a referb

@@dyIanVII often to clearance for wheels, larger wheels will come higher in the guard when articulating, so raising the body reduces interference.

It is nicer than Joe Rogan's build by far;) However, I am not into that kind of build. Fancy paint jobs are pointless if you go off road. The LSA is super bad ass, but what happens when you really go out in the bush? Regardless, that interior is the nicest one so far and everything else looks perfect! 10 out of 10 as a show truck:)

I hate the plastic snorkel look. So i've been looking around for a more, integrated stealthier design to make it less visible. But why have i never thought of making one out of stainless?! I'd rock that! maybe add a tip on it, it looks a little plain as is.

@@brocksinclair66 1hdfte is better then the 1hdft with 125kw and 389nm. The LSA makes 414kw and 800nm as a conservative number. Yes, that is over double the power output. If you want to then spend the price of an LSA crate motor on your HD engine you would be lucky to make 260kw and 1100nm. Not one of the HD engines is anything special apart from being reasonably reliable if nothing else.

@@elrud5964 im aware the fte is better but they never came in the 80. you can buy 400hp kits for the fte. practicality wise the diesel is better, will tow better use less fuel, driveline will last longer and has more usable power off road. and obviously last longer to

@@brocksinclair66 a 400 hp HD will use a lot of fuel and you have lost your legendary reliability at that power level. Better off getting a high output diesel like duramax or 6bt. My HD-t uses 16L per hundred and that goes up quite a bit off road or towing. Easily as much fuel as a petrol.

Wish it was possible in my country :( 1 - insane tax to get that engine in the car. 2 - So much documentation you need to prove the car and break system fits the new engines power and wight.. Even go to a diffrent country to do the TUV testing. Then even its just a maby you will get it approved and registrated for road use.
