I bought this shampoo and used it yesterday on my ceramic-coated vehicle. Years ago, I had this vehicle coated with Ceramic Pro and have maintained it the way the product supplier recommended. I only used the soap in the wheel and vehicle wash buckets. Over the years, I have been using CarPro reset and have been very happy with its performance. Yesterday, your soap performed very well, and unless something changes, I will default to it once my Reset Bottle is empty. I also used your Ceramic Spray as a topper, and WOW!!! did it perform well. I will this weekend use your 8 year ceramic coating on the front of our Motorcoach. Last week, I cut and buffed above the windshield, knowing I would apply this once it arrived. Looking forward to my experience of applying your coating on fiberglass.

That's quite a bit of product used. Jamie put 2oz in 500ml or 1/2 a foam cannon, which would be 4oz for a full foam cannon, plus 2oz for the bucket is less than 3 full uses from a 16oz bottle. I get that's for "maximum effect" but even if you cut the quantity in the foam cannon by half, that's still only 4 washes per bottle.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
That’s just Jamie’s way in this video. You can still use more water if you want. I typically put 700 or 800 ml of water in my foam cannon and use 1 or 2 oz of the shampoo and it still works great. No worries there. You can see how good just 1 oz foams in a foam cannon filled with water in Josh’s latest video right here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH-zaIOtj9xpis0si=PnCbEa2hY-9ptrHQ And in the wash bucket, you only need 0.5 oz of shampoo for every gallon of water. Highly concentrated so that’s no issue. You can clearly see how even a foam cannon full with water and 2 oz of the shampoo creates amazing foam at the 30:40 mark of my reveal video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYvRlJmLlpZkfKMsi=Uf5gCLBg2-Jen6Wq And again, even just 1 oz in the foam cannon works just fine. You can play with dilutions to get your preferred level of foam from the foam cannon you are using. So yeah, concentration is no issue. 👍🏻

@@PanTheOrganizer I did just watch Josh's video, and he did get good results with just 1oz in the foam cannon. Which is 1/4 of the product Jamie used. Probably would have been good to highlight that in your "deep dive". Better shows the capability of the soap.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you are experiencing what I have been saying all the long. ;). You’d love the entire lineup. So thanks for sharing your positive experience and also for your support. I have in depth videos coming for each product so the ceramic spray sealant video will also come soon. But applying it is actually beyond easy. Keep in mind, for max durability you apply the spray sealant on dry paint, but don’t use weekly on dry paint as it’s very durable and will reject itself. You apply it on dry paint once every 6-12 months or when you see hydrophobic properties starting to diminish. For weekly maintenance, use it on a wet surface as a spray on rinse off sealant or as a drying aid when towel drying your car. 👍🏻 With any long lasting paint protection like my CLEAN Ceramic Spray Sealant, if you want maximum durability and performance, you apply it to a clean, decontaminated and virgin clear coat, free of any previous protection. That’s how you’ll ensure a proper bond of the spray sealant to the clear coat. The only way to ensure 100% removal of your existing protection is by machine polishing. If you don’t mind not getting the full performance and durability, you could use my spray sealant on top of your existing protection by using it as a drying aid (on wet paint) or as a spray on rinse off sealant, on wet paint. You’ll still get gloss and slickness, but not the full potential for reasons explained above. It’s like someone that has a wax on their paint and wants to apply a ceramic coating. The coating can’t bond to the wax. You need to machine polish the wax off first, use a panel prep spray to remove polishing oils, and only then can you apply the coating.

Hey Pan! I finally received the full line of products i ordered. Excited to try them out! For the foam cannon used in the video here, I was wondering what the settings are for the opening and the knob on the top? I have the same foam cannon.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer Ай бұрын
It’s to let more or less solution in, to control the foam output. Once you start spraying, tunr it full clockwise or full counterclockwise and pick the setting that gives the most foam. It’s like that for pretty much all foam cannons. Put 500-700 ml of water and 2 oz of shampoo in the foam cannons and play with the knob until you get the max foam. From then on you can adjust the dilution or foam output to get what makes sense to you. More foam doesn’t mean more cleaning power though. It’s just visually more fun hehe. As long there is proper and even coverage on the surface you can save soap by using perhaps just 1 oz of shampoo in the foam cannon. Have fun using the products! 👍🏻

@PanTheOrganizer Oh this is my mistake for using poor grammar. I know what the settings on the foam cannon do. I was curious what the settings on the foam cannon used for the demonstration were adjusted to. So that I can set mine to the same as what you used in the video.

So I used 1.5oz in a 1000ml foam cannon. You are using 2oz with 500ml so it's doubling the concentration. Does that help with suds and cleaning? Maybe I'll try that on next wash.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
You can play around with dilutions to get your level of desired foam depending on your type of foam cannon and pressure washer setup. There are many factors that influence the quantity, thickness and richness of snow foam: 1. Type of foam cannon (smaller orifices lead to thicker foam, but can potentially trip your circuit breaker depending on your setup) 2. Type of pressure washer (a higher amount of GPM water output leads to more foam, so a pressure washer with 1.3 GPM will produce less foam than one that pumps out 2.1 GPM) 3. Type of snow foam (not all snow foams produce the same amount of foam) 4. Dilution ratio of snow foam (adjust the dilution according to your setup. Start with the recommendations on the label, and increase the amount as needed). 5. Water quality. The better the water, the more foam and suds you get. So deionized water will always produce more foam compared to hard tap water, for example. I typically use 1 or 2 oz in 700-800 ml of water. Keep in mind you don’t need a shaving cream like texture to do a good job. The quality of the surfactants are more important. Big foam is just for visual appeal. So if the dilution you are using is enough to blanket the car, I wouldn’t worry about shaving cream foam hehe. You can see how good just 1 oz in a foam cannon works in Josh’s latest video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH-zaIOtj9xpis0si=ZtJPB5pUlhijIp9R

Was this tested on regurlar budget brand pressure washers with their oem foam guns like simoniz, karcher that are sold as kits at canadian tire? And how does it bare? I can’t really invest in a 900$ bundle to wash my car to get a really high quality pressure washer and super high quality foam canon and already have a simoniz kit. But even with other high quality foam soaps, my setup won’t do shaving cream like foam no matter how much soap I put in it…

Hiya Pan. Can you confirm this is PH neutral as your tester strip looked like the colour of PH 8 which is slightly alkaline. Thanks.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
Yes it’s pH neutral. Keep in mind that strip tested raw shampoo from the bottle, and pH can change once diluted in water. Once diluted, the shampoo is pH neutral. It doesn’t have to be a 7.0 to be considered neutral as there are variables like type of water and dilution. If I remember, the chemist who formulated it said with a pH meter in the lab he gets around 7.7 to 7.8 straight from the bottle which is close enough. Again, once diluted it’s pH neutral. It’s wax, sealant and coating safe. Absolutely no worries there. For example the Koch Chemie Gfx soap is pH 7.5 and still considered neutral. DIY Detail’s Incredible Suds is pH 8.5 and they still consider that pH neutral on their own website. I hope this helps.

@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
It’s a pH of 7.7-7.8 in the bottle (still considered neutral) as tested with pH meters in the lab by the chemists. They simply rounded up the value to 8 on the SDS, but that doesn’t mean it’s not neutral. Any chemist would tell you that. Once diluted in water, my shampoo is pH neutral. pH neutral is typically considered to be 6.5 to 8 to be safe on waxes, sealants and coatings. DIY Detail’s Incredible Suds is pH 8.5 and they still consider to be neutral as per their own website. Koch Chemie Gfx is pH 7.5 and still considered neutral. I could go on and on with examples. Pan - great video as always! I will wait for your products to be available in wider asia to use it - will ahve to sit back and enjoy the video till then. I have been taking more and more care of my car, washing it my self ever week since I starting watching your videos. I always had it in me, but your channel just unleashed the beast. I have a question - what's better - using a ceramic detailer everytime I wash or using a ceramic sealant with 6 months durability. I generally do a rinseless wash as I have limited to no availability of running water, and probably once a month a proper wash at one of self car washes where I am doing a full blown routine - all thanks to you and your video! I always use a quick detailer, either Gyeon's quick or ceramic detailer. I have never used a ceramic sealant but I always wanted to ask this question... My car is ceramic coated btw, with Gyeon PPF ceramic coat.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
Do you have a paint protection on your paint currently? If you have a good ceramic coating, all you need is to use a good spray sealant once every 2-3 months for maintenance on most coatings. But there are people who enjoy using a quick detailer after each wash, as they like the boost in gloss and slickness. So it's up to you to decide what you prefer. There is no right or wrong here. If you use my ceramic spray sealant, and you want to use it weekly, use it on wet paint as a drying aid or spray on rinse off sealant on a wet surface. If you apply it on dry paint, you would only use it once or twice a year, as it's a long lasting sealant.

Does your ceramic coating come with an application pad and if so, right now I have roar ceramic coating on my car on my SUV. Would I be able to paint correct our DA and polish that coating down far enough to be able to apply your coating?
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
Hi Otto. Yes it comes with an applicator in the box. I showed that in the dedicated ceramic coating in depth video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJuuYmWnp7WNaMUsi=eFNVbBbf0DH0NUTQ For sure you will have to machine polish the old ceramic coating off before applying a new coating. My spray polish, along with a quality pad like this: thehouseofrags.com/collections/pans-picks/products/pans-picks-diy-detail-gold-standard-waffle-pad Should be enough to remove the old coating. If it still beads water after polishing, it means you need to start with a more aggressive cutting pad first, like this: thehouseofrags.com/collections/pans-picks/products/pans-picks-diy-detail-gold-standard-wool-cutting-pad Then finish with the polishing pad. Once done polishing, make sure to use a panel prep spray like this: thehouseofrags.com/collections/clean-by-pan-the-organizer/products/panel-prep-spray

Is it okay to use spray sealant every week? I find that if I don’t use any topper/ drying aid after every wash, the paint is not as shiny.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
For weekly use it’s fine as long as you use it on a wet surface (as a drying aid or spray on rinse off sealant).

@@PanTheOrganizer thank you Pan for your in-depth answer I appreciate it. I am impressed with your products before I even have a chance to use it myself. My car gets dusty as I park it outside under the California sun. love my turtle hybrid ceramic 3in1 detailer because of your video. I would like to switch to your clean ceramic spray sealant. From your recommendation, it seems that I have to wet the paint before I spray clean ceramic sealant to be a quick detailer. I wonder if I can dilute clean ceramic spray sealant with RODI water and turn it into a quick detailer for the gloss effect only (I don’t mind the durability). Well thank you again for your time, hopefully I can learn more tips and tricks on your upcoming in-depth video about your clean ceramic spray sealant.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
Don't dilute the product in the bottle, it's not meant to be diluted. For the first application of the ceramic spray sealant, I would wash the car, use iron remover if you haven't done that in while, and clay the paint if it needs claying. Finish the wash process and dry the car. If you have a panel prep spray, use that to further clean the surface. Then apply the CLEAN Ceramic Spray Sealant on dry paint. One or two sprays per panel max. That will at least get you a base layer of protection (not as long lasting as if you had machine polished the entire paint though, before applying it). And from then on, during your weekly washes, you'll be able to use the CLEAN Ceramic Spray Sealant as a drying aid on a wet surface, or as a spray on rinse off sealant on a wet surface. You'll be getting great gloss and slickness after each wash.

You’ll have to play with dilutions in a pump sprayer to get it to where you like. But a good starting point would be 1 to 2 oz most probably. 0.5 oz for ever gallon of water 15 ml for every 3.79L of water And adjust accordingly to what you like.

@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 2 ай бұрын
No problem. The coatings can even be in freezing temperatures as they won't freeze, because they don't contain any water in them. Just raw materials. If unopened, you get 1 year shelf life with the coatings. Once opened, 6 months. Once opened, you can store them in the freezer to keep them fresh until the next use. Pull them out the day before so they get back to room temperature, and they're good to go.

We are already working on the future products and I also take notes of what products my viewers would most like me to add to the lineup. An iron remover, and interior detailer, and a wheel & tire cleaner are up there on that list. So stay tuned!

I’ve really enjoyed CLEAN shampoo. But isn’t this overkill - 60 ml in 500 ml of water in foam cannon? I’ve used 30 ml in 1L or for heavy foam, 60 ml in 1L. Seems like 60ml shampoo in 500 ml water is way too much or am I mistaken?

That’s just Jamie’s way of doing his dilutions with any soap. I typically use 1-2 oz of shampoo in 700-800ml of water in my foam cannon. More foam doesn’t mean more cleaning. It’s just for visual appeal. People can play around with dilutions with any soap really and see what level they prefer.

I bought the Shampoo, the Ceramic Spray Sealant and the Tire Dressing. My thoughts: 1. SHAMPOO: Negatives: The foam was watery and runny and the product is more expensive than my usual Adams Mega Foam or Koch Chemie Gsf. Positives: It rinsed off well in the sun. My other two products sometime leave a residue requiring a little more rinsing. It also smelled fantastic. Since I did not get that shaving cream lather with two ounces of soap I was disappointed, but it cleaned well, left no residue and I can use it in the sun (which I did on purpose). That last benefit sells me on Pan's more expensive product even if the lather didn't. (I immediately tried my regular products and they DID produce the foam I was used to.) Full disclosure: I wash my car at least once a week, sometimes twice, and it has an excellent ceramic coating on it. If it gets particularly dirty I will at least rinse it off if I can't wash it. In other words, I don't really need the thick foam, I just like it🙂 2. CERAMIC SPRAY SEALANT: My X5 is coated with Xpel ceramic and looks beautiful without add-ons. But, I have tried all sorts of these products and never found one which worked.They are either dust magnets, greasy, or just ineffective so I quit using them. THIS product is a home run. I washed and rinsed the car then sprayed Pan's product on the panels, rinsing as I went along. I use a cursory EGO blow followed with a microfiber towel. As I was moving the towel it was difficult to keep it on the car unless I held onto it, even though the towel was damp. This product is slick! More importantly, I was shocked at the finish. The car is more reflective than the day I purchased it new or the day I got the ceramic coating. I didn't compare prices on this product because I don't use similar products anymore. Whatever the price, it's more than fair: IT WORKS. Perfectly as a matter of fact. 3. TIRE DRESSING: Uh-oh: "Houston, we have a problem." Well, not me, but some of you might. Pan has always emphasized how he likes tires with a matte shine or luster. This stuff is certainly no glitter ball but there is no way this can be called "matte". My normal product is one Pan recommended, CarPro Dark Side. I had tried others but settled on this one since I liked its look and its tremendous staying power. Method: on one side of the car I finished both tires with Pan's product and on the other side one tire had CarPro and the other had Pan's product. I loved the look of Pan's Tire Dressing. When I asked my wife to come out and blind check the results, she looked at the side that had Pan's product and said she liked it but she saw no difference from the past. When she went to the other side she immediately saw the difference and said the tire with the Pan's product looked MUCH better. So, YOU might have a problem with the "more than matte" shine, but for me and my wife it looked GREAT. The good news is the price of the 2 products is identical. Obviously, having tried it just one day ago, I cannot say how long it will last. If it can last as long as the CarPro product then this product is a home run also. Even if it does not match the longevity of the CarPro, it is still a three bagger and a product I will choose over any other. CONCLUSION: Having tried at least 7-8 of each of these product types, I can recommend in good conscience both Ceramic Spray Sealant and Tire Dressing with the caveat on Tire Dressing being it is a little shinier than what Pan describes as matte gloss. Personally, we love it. The shampoo is a little "meh". I think it is more expensive than other top notch competitors which clean just as well and, in my experience, the rich foam I seek is more readily available in those other products .BUT, I will still use Pan's product because it cleans well, it does not leave a residue, and you can use it in the sun, the latter being extremely important for most DIY'ers. In short, I will buy all three products again despite some shortfalls because the benefits out-weigh the negatives. One more thing. I don't care about this as much as some, but the Shampoo and Spray Sealant do smell nice, and the tire dressing, while only kind of neutral, at least doesn't have that chemical smell most tire products have. Great job Pan! P.S. Pan, I know you love the clean look but I do have a suggestion. Make the letters larger for the type of each product. The color differentiations are too slight to make a difference. And who can remember all those colors anyway? Also, I would include a push pump on the tire dressing bottle. The dressing, being thin, is hard to put on an applicator without some spillage. Or is that the point? JUST KIDDING🤣

Thanks for the detailed review! It sounds like you're really enjoying the products so if you're happy I'm happy. For the tire dressing, my goal was a beautiful dark sheen. Not matte, but not overly oily or wet look (glossy). Once you apply it, the gloss matts down to a dark sheen the next day, or after a few hours. After applying, you can also knock the gloss down a bit by wiping the excess with a microfiber towel, if you want an even more matte appearance. For someone who likes even more gloss, then can go around the car applying the first layer, then get back to the first tire, apply a second layer and go around the car that way. Then wait 10 min curing and you can drive the car. Waiting 1 hour is even better if possible. The tire dressing is the only product in the line that we didn't add any dye or scent to. So what you smell are the chemicals and solvents. Quick notes on the shampoo. The amount of foam you get really depends on multiple factors and variables. What foam cannon are you using? What dilution do you use in the foam cannon? I typically have 700 ml or 800 ml of water, and add 1 oz (good foam) or 2 oz (great foam) of soap.

1. As for the tire dressing, we like it just like it is. Today, 2 days later I did a little buffing and it did tone it down, but two days later is probably too long to wait. So, for those of you who think the shine is too much, Pan is right. I expect if you do light buffing right after the Tire Dressing is supplied you will be able to get the gloss you desire with less work. 2. After reading your explanation about the Tire Dressing and working on my tires today, I feel like both the Tire Dressing and the Ceramic Spray Sealant are the best I’ve ever used. Also, given their level of performance, I think they would be hard to beat in the future. (I still need to see how long the Tire Dressing lasts.) 3. I have a Griot’s Brilliant Finish Foam Cannon and fill it with 30 ounces of water and 2 ounces of shampoo. For Gsf this is 1:16. For Adam’s and Clean this is 1:15. The water is the same as is the pressure washer and the orifice in the cannon. The only variables are the three different shampoos and the slight difference in ratios. However, I can see how you achieved thicker foam in the video. You point out you use only 700 ML of water which is a little less than 24 ounces. Adding 2 ounces of Shampoo yields a ratio of 1:12, which I will test this weekend. But at 1:12 the price goes way up making it more expensive than it already was! Even if it works I would pause before buying it again, BUT in the end I would pay the increased price for the ability to use it in the sun and for its clean rinsing properties. But that might not be the case for everyone. 4. As for the Shampoo, I will continue to use it and justify the cost because of the above properties (which are important to me). However, if someone is looking for thick foam and will be washing the car in the shade, I would probably recommend the Adams or the GSF which come at a much better price point. Perhaps your chemists could formulate a Shampoo with a 15:1 ratio at the same price? That would be nice🙂 Anyway, you have my business for all 3 products (even with the shampoo’s caveat). Sweet success!

Hey man, very excited for this line up you got here, I was on your website looking to buy the tire dressing, but I noticed that on the 1 gallon picture (the 128 oz version) in the image, the gallon still says "16 oz / 473 ml" which may have been an oversight, and just letting you know, looking out for ya!
