Great Video, thanks! I already new how to do this (found while searching to do a RESET). ANOTHER way to get the difficult part between the bottom of the holder down into the lower nozzle is to use a can of compressed air (suggest you have something to catch it like a TALL cup or you'll have grounds EVERYWHERE, LOL. If still clogged try the air from the bottom upwards but have a cloth or damp paper towel over the top part. Cheers!

You saved my bacon just this morning. I was somewhat handicapped however as I could not find a paperclip anywhere in my house. I used a safety pin, a push pin and a straw brush. I thought I was going to be out of luck for a while, when a dribble of water started, then a little more, then a sound somewhat like an old cap pistol (yes I'm that old) startled me and the water started flowing. Luckily I had a k mini in a closet so I could get my morning caffeine, then I could think! Thanks for this video.

Thank you for this great video. I was able to get my machine working again. Folks be patient with that needle on the popup. It can take quite a few passes before you unclog it. They really need to redesign that aspect of the machine.

I used a "twisty tie" to get into the top K-cup nozzle. Worked like a charm! Thanks for this video.

Dear Dad Man! I thought my expensive instapot coffee maker was broken and I was very unhappy because I like it a lot. It was beeping and the lights were blinking at the end of every cup of coffee that I made and I thought well maybe something's wrong that I can fix so I googled that and lo and behold thankfully by God's grace I came across your wonderful video and I have just cleaned it and then cleaned it with the vinegar like your other video says .. and I did this all several many times until the water came out just as it should with no beeping slashing or anything else. So now I know but without you I would not have known and I probably would have been very upset and disappointed when the problem was the user not the machine. I had no idea needed these cleanings thank you so much and my extra special paper clip is now in my kitchen drawer 🥰🥰🥰💯

My instant pod is not channeling water into the pod casing. I've cleaned out the needles and looked to find the pod chamber is dry!

Any suggestions on why the instant pod is slowly leaking out from the bottom. And from what I can see it's not leaking at the tank reservoir.

Hello! So I know this video is old, but is your Insant Pod still going strong? We've been through 3 in a year...all the lights flashing and Nespresso works fine, but keurid side! Customer service keeping sends us a new one. The most recent one is flashing all lights out of the box. (Well I did get one kcup out of it). I have just taken the machine apart but don't know what I'm looking at...wondered if you had any insight on the insides of this one!

Hi! I just got a new machine but when trying to do that fresh water rinse before the first use I noticed all buttons flashing and a clicking sound before it just went back to flashing. Is this something with maybe the wiring since I haven’t used it before? Is there any way I can try different things to see what it is? Thanks in advance!!

When using the nespresso pod side mine runs for a couple seconds then the lights start flashing and happens with a pod and without a pod. Any tips how to fix this?

My machine is completely bypassing the kcup. Ive descaled and rinsed several times as well as cleaning the needle. All lights will flash if I select the bold option. The espresso side is functioning properly

Hot water goes into my cup in the normal way. The water is clear. When I check the pod is completely dry. After doing extensive cleaning there is no change. So how can this be?

My espresso side isn't working, the pump turns on but nothing comes out. Where does the water come from on this side of the coffee maker and what can I clean because it seems like it is clogged? The coffee side works just fine.

Might try blowing canned air into the holes. The worst that can happen is it doesn't help ... Watch for flying grounds!! ;)

My problem is when the lid is closed sometimes it drips continuously when off.. Open the lid the dripping stops. What am I supposed to clean? I've already done all these steps.. Seems to get worse when I use those bad cheap Nespresso pods like great value which are paper.

Sorry I just don't know much about other chemicals. Vinegar is the only one I use.

O.K. So I checked the espresso side and that’s where the water is coming from! It’s always doing that on the coffee pod side too. Better phone the company.

Was using the thing daily for a year. Right after I used the espresso side one night, for the first time, I woke up to a full drip tray and it dripping water. To see which one was leaking I put tissue in the espresso draw, and the coffee pod holder. The espresso side was leaking, and only leaks when the top is closed. Short of disassembling the entire unit , they give you NO WAY to clean the espresso side AT ALL.

We Found there's a TRICK to opening it. Place your fingers on the BACK portion of the release lever and press down HARD, THEN lift the front edge with your thumb. Releases MUCH easier.
