I wish it was a different wheel, like the weapon wheel, but using a different button to show all equipment and use them while time is slowed down

I liked that in Zero Dawn you were limited on things like these and it didn't send everything to your stash. It's just so damn casual to just let you pick up and store everything... as if it was that difficult to have a minimum of inventory management like Zero Dawn used to.

@@dezpotizmOFheaven Hoarders like me are happy about this new mechanic tho, as you just have to go to your stash to refill after a long run of picking up lots of stuff ahah

@@arinyl5841I enjoy it as well. Im a big “every nook and cranny” type explorer in open worlds. So i spend the first 20-30 hours just checking everything out, picking up every item i can. Havent had to pick up any more rocks or ridgewood in probably the last 30+ hours of play. I never stop picking up health berries though 😂

@@dezpotizmOFheaventbh I felt like I spent more time managing inventory than actually fighting spending time on doing something I really don’t care about doing but I HAVE to do it because I need more inventory slots terrible combination, and I'm glad of the stash addition

I assume marked chests are extra stuff they have lying around. The stuff they care about isn't marked or in locked chests, like the Ancestors Return.

When you have the weapon wheel open it should tell you what the key is for using Valor in the upper right hand corner.

I only carry my pet lures, food, smoke bombs, health potions, and rocks in there. I hate how many slots that thing can have. Worst UI in the game, imo.

Tbf the first game gave you no way of disabling certain tools, so you had to manually get rid of useless tools constantly...

This has nothing to do with input method and everything to do with the Devs setting every item to be auto added to the hot bar when that should be a player decision and could easily be done with a single button/keystroke inside the Tools Menu.

Exactly, I don't think a "hide from tool kit button" in the Tool menu is beyond the devs capabilities, considering the technical feat the rest of the game is. We could only hope a PC mod could do this, but not many useful mods like this were ever made for HZD, mostly nonsense naked Aloy mods 🙄@@aureateseigneur5317

I had a bug in my game where I was unable to use healing potions, just herbs to heal. It wasn't very fun.

Its literally the same thing with some new mechanics, new setting, and continued storyline. I have no idea how you can like Zero Dawn and not like Forbidden West. Nothing boring about either. It sounds like youre just not good at adapting to new and better combat mechanics

You're probably carrying a bunch of potions that aren't currently showing in your toolkit. Go to a stash and switch to your inventory to see what you're carrying. Deposit potions you don't want.
