Cleanaway Wodonga Departures

This video I created from my massive 2012 road trip, taken early on a Wednesday morning outside the previous Cleanaway Wodonga depot that serviced this specific NSW/VIC border region. At the time the company was operating ACCO side loaders with Superior Pak bodies, with the fleet made up of vehicles built during different periods. While you can’t clearly see exactly what all these trucks are, you can most definitely hear them, a number of which I managed to capture in action as seen in other uploads of mine. Standing in a few different spots, I shot clips of all the trucks as they pulled out of the cul-de-sac driveway and took off down Kane Rd. Most of them are side loaders, but we also see two Scania front lifts and a Volvo hook lift pulling on a compactor bin and leaving, which I guess contained residuals from the onsite MRF operation. I imagine the entire Cleanaway workforce for Albury, Wodonga, Indigo, Corowa and Greater Hume was run out of this yard, but the base and MRF have since been relocated to a property in Lavington. I rocked up a bit before 5am to see most of the trucks kicking off their shifts, and unfortunately it was the middle of winter, thus the pitch black view due to the late sunrise and poor street lighting.
