it should be a shock to no one that interior and trim accessories make or break a build. first thing I do with used cars is polish headlamps (or buy new ones) and replace the rearview mirror. those two things alone with a brake job really sorta raise the appeal of a car.

Definitely It’s the little things that people don’t normally notice Before and after of the Miata when we swapped out all the rubber trim made it look like a completely different car

that first hub is definitely expecting a quick release on it. either way, junk of them for that. Luckily your horn install was easy! in hicas it’s annoying! i had to cut and extend wires and make my own contacts. so dumb

" we are gonna be those idiot kids" Hahah true. however consider this that the car otherwise woulda gotten beat and scrapped eventually and by doing this you are keeping it alive that much longer. its the same argument with old iron american cars. sure the purity is ruined with modern v8 swapping it. but we are keeping them alive and thats sort of what "hot rodders"/"tuners" do im going to go down a similar path.. /i think/ with an fc3s someday..
