Ash AlTWD so I failed Keto and been eating junk carbs for a week and a half now and he said a few days ago that maybe he should try Keto because he saw my results. But on the diet I got no support from him. All he cares about was being afraid I was going to lose my butt and boobs 🙄 I was like “are you only with me for those??” He said no and then said “but I don’t want to date a stick figure.” I got SOO PISSED. But don’t worry I told him off and made sure he fucked up by saying that. But now that I’ve failed, he’s telling me I should go back on keto. Anyways, sorry for that little story. It just pisses me off that everyone around me always says shit to me about what I’m doing. I was soo happy on Keto. My face cleared up, I had SO MUCH ENERGY, I was happy and aww I miss it. I know I could get back to it but I’m afraid the lack of support. I wish I had more supportive people. That’s why I love talking with people like you who shine light my way.
@underthestarsoverthemoon42595 жыл бұрын
Ash AlTWD it’s everything I try to do everyone around me becomes an expert in. It’s like they know I have such determination and they know how to pull it away from me and I let them. I hate that about me. I want to just stick with something if it makes me feel so good and I’m not hurting myself or anyone around me. I’m getting back on it and this time I’m not telling anyone anything. I realized I will constantly try to find support in everyone and that ruins everything because I go to the same people I went to that never gave me support. Time to keep my mouth shut and let the success make the noise. I’m telling one nothing anymore. And you’re right!! I love people like you and Thomas!!!! 👏🏼😄

Raw almonds: originally I started roasting them myself because I couldn’t get roasted at that time. Easiest thing ever. Nine minutes on a cookie sheet at 350. Don’t stress over spacing - sometimes crowded sometimes not. But I kept doing it because they taste amazing - especially when they are still warm. For some reason they just blow store bought roasted (and I’m not talking about the store bought ones with oil and spices added - just plain roasted almonds) away.

@@DavidMorales008 Actually I have been laid up on and off for most of last 2 years with a couple different health issues and have gained a lot of weight, but was large to begin with. I peeked at 415 and was miserable and knew if I didn’t do something drastic I was not live very long. I go have back and knee issues. I started keto and along with it I take collagen peptides and the weight just started melting off. I normally don’t eat as much as my keto menu says to eat and I 12 hour fast usually at least every other day. A little down on energy and thinking about taking some sort of protein in the near future. It just seems to be working for me at this time. I think it more a state of mind than anything. I’m really not over active as I’m going on 63 years old.

@@dennisbantz3747 that's amazing I'm really trying to get the results I keep hearing but I guess I just have to just keep at it, and stop breaking keto thats my problem I have cut bread out and rice which for me was really hard, I'm also doing no more sugar or carbs for the most part it's just I get so hungry I end up eating something breaded like fried chicken or fried fish

Thank you for sharing your insights and hope you know how much I appreciate your channel. I got hit by a distracted driver and then went into a coma for three weeks afterwards a few years ago and I was told that if I hadn’t been in such good shape I never would have survived so I am just grateful that I am alive and well and I will be back in the gym later today. I hope you know how much I enjoy your channel and your positive energy. Bless you 🙏💪

This “or” that could just mean that inventory on oils is based on agricultural growing season, growing conditions, supply chain and hence cost of ingredients and whats available from farming that season. Its more cost effective for the consumer if the bag lists both in order to avoid reprinting. Its not that the food producer doesn’t know what they used. :)

It's difficult to digest nuts, grains, and seeds because of phytonutrients **AND** because of the toughness of their outer coatings. The latter is the main reason why you find whole seeds (etc) in animal droppings. It's a symbiotic evolutionary relationship, so that they can survive and later germinate.

Just a tip the baking isle also has raw nuts and it’s way cheaper for more quantity.

This is great, but we dont have $100 to blow on specialized snacks. Please give us the "regular middle class" snack choices.

Pork rinds with homemade guacamole, make your own clean jerky (easy) macadamia nuts. He is really just informing us that if we want to eat super clean these are the "snacks" that won't throw you out of ketosis or fill your body with trash. You can melt some cheese, add a few spices and you have a clean dip. Just use block cheese.

The very best snack you can have, is no snack at all. Every time you eat, you spike your insulin. Some things cause a lower spike, but everything will cause some sort of reaction.

@@armadillotoe Blood sugar spikes occur when your blood sugar rises and then falls sharply after you eat. the key is (obviously) to reducing your carb and sugar intake.

Newly retired respiratory therapist here in Sonoma County so happy to find you because I have wanted to get back on keto forever but too many Temptations at work now I have no excuse. This is a great video and affirmed so many things I already knew and taught me so much. 21 days into this diet and it's pretty easy to do I don't feel like I'm losing anything much but I'm afraid to get on the scale I just want my clothes to fit loose so I can get back into my tens my goal is to lose 25 pounds

They have cali flour crusts at Walmart now. 6 carbs for the whole crust with only 3 ingredients. Probably have to go to a super walmart. Even better it's actually only 3 net carbs for the whole crust

Oddly I find them bouncing between the kosher section and the regular spot where all the sardines are. They are boneless and skinless which I'd prefer wasn't the case. But the price is great. Actually $1.58. I have eaten better tasting one....but 3x price.

I know everyone can't cook/doesn't like to cook, but I've found experimenting with recipes and making my own snacks to be fun and rewarding. However, sometimes you're on a road trip or out for the day and get sidetracked and can't get home, this is good info that will save me a lot of time.

I’m trying to restart again after a week and a half of saying shit. Gained all the weight back that I lost. I lost like 15 pounds in a month from Keto and was feeling amazing but the temptations around me from my bf and family, no support from anyone and they make me feel guilty for doing stuff for me. Time to isolate myself and get back on Keto and not let anyone know my goals. Because if no one knows my goals then they can’t sabotage them.

Been on keto 5 days doing great. Having keto coffee, 1 cheese slice, 2 eggs and 3 bacon for bf, lunch half avocado with chicken and less than half cup green beans. Dinner half avocado, 5 prawns with spinach. Another keto coffee, a babybel cheese for a snack, handful peanuts or 3 mini chicken ready to eat sausage. Occasionally I may have protein shake. I feel like all my clothes are loose and I don't count calories or measure my foods. I have a 2yr old and lack of sleep makes me extremely tired, I have diabetes under control and low blood pressure which am working on. Great video✌
