The preponderance of modern vehicles having the larger diameter wheels of cast alloy, and lower profile tyres, is a perfect example of the law of unintended consequences. It has created a whole new industry: repair of kerb damaged wheels. I saw a newish Ferrari , with kerb damaged wheels. Made me wince.

Awww, I love these cars. I had a top spec 2.5T (badged as an XR5 Turbo here in Aus) in panther black back in 2011 and it was fantastic. Drove very well and had tons of space. Just had to watch the height of the rear hatch when opening it up under the car port. You did a mega job as usual of cleaning this one up. As a side note I quite like the videos with the music, although the music itself isn't really my style. Happy birthday Amy!

Very nice car, especially after cleaning :) Didn't James Bond drive a Mondeo just like this in one movie? I'm Finnish viewer, have been watching for years your channel, and have gotten used to the cool background music in the cleaning process video :) Planning to visit parents and sister at Christmas, no other plans. Great video as always Gary. The results on this Mondeo were brilliant, top job. The wheels looked so much better after the refurb. It got me thinking that you do loads more stuff to the cars than just clean them and I reckon you should do a series of video shorts dedicated to specific refurb jobs such as repairing scratches, paint touch ups, wheel refurb, body filled etc. With all your experience you could pass on some of that know how!! shorts I know this is too late but I couldn't not say happy birthday Amy and hope you both had a great Xmas.

I also lucked out with a gem of an auction find here in the States. Grand total paid for a 2009 Chevrolet Impala was $850: $700 for the purchase and the rest for Title and registration and plates. Sadly had a numpty cross my lane of travel about a month later and caused some front end damage I'm waiting on Insurance to pay for repairs on. It's a grand little car and I miss driving it around.
