Hi Martin, I have a autool brand cleaning bench, I was wondering what rail pressure you recommend for testing the injectors at, and how many CC's should they be within eachother, and should low medium and high speed tests show the same flow results?

Great video martin, have you thought about offering an injector cleaning service? I have about 100 injectors lying around my garage, I grab them every time I'm at the scrapyard
@martinbuilt2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, John, maybe sometime in the future I will. With that many injectors, you should get the same ultrasonic cleaner that I have.

@@martinbuilt Autool 6 injector cleaner right? I've been eyeing it the last couple months. I normally take mine to a diesel shop down the road but I can't watch the actual cleaning process. I'll probably get one I notice you have a few of the Autool branded items and have good things to say

@@JohnSmith-ot9sc I was thinking if you at least got the Professional Ultrasonic Cleaner amzn.to/3E12aZ2 that would help you out a lot and it also can be used for car parts as well. Yes, I feel that Autool makes some great products and would be comfortable with their Tester/Cleaner. Fuel Injector Cleaner and Tester amzn.to/3KwEi1Q

Hi Martin I am from the UK but also property in Arkansas your injector calibration machine does your machine allow on the vehicle calibration ?? my question is when doing them off the vehicle Versus ON the vehicle DO YOU FIND OFF IS BETTER OR NO DIFFERENCE ? Cheers Martin ! Please come bank soon although I know you are busy with you new property cheers BRIAN
@martinbuilt2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Brian yeah I'll be back at it as soon as I can. I personally don't know if on the vehicle is better than off I would think you're gonna get better results taking the injector off the vehicle and calibrating/clean them.
@LevQWERTY2 жыл бұрын
Judging by the multiple experience of washing fuel injectors in ultrasonic baths, they usually stop holding pressure after this procedure if there was a lot of wear. Therefore, I would not advise people, especially those who have old nozzles, to clean them in an ultrasonic bath.

Fuel that isnt atomised is wasted. The more an injector vaporizes the fuel into the air. The more efficent it will operate. Gaining mpg or hp or both depending on your tune. It is a total waste of money if you cant super tune the engine. You could of got less from(edit: for) less money and wound up with the same output if you dont dyno or time trial the tune. But A+ for potential.
@tatertots-n-soup2 жыл бұрын
In a stock motor you could see a increase in mpg and throttle response. But the dummy computer isnt going to know it can advance the timing further than its programing. And i would assume it could manage the air/fuel ratio still. Unless you have some monster racepump and the regulator cant keep the pressure in limits. But you surely would have a tuneable management system before you had a pump and reg like that.
