Cleaning and Lubing the chain on the 2022 Honda Grom

This is just me cleaning and lubricating the chain on my 2022 grom.

how many miles do you have on your bike? i found the stock chain and sprocket horribly bad for such a nice bike. the chain stretches after each ride which has been echoed by others and the sprocket jump protection lip makes it ring like a bell. i replaced both with a protaper chain and literally the same teeth rear sprocket

As of typing this I have 1387 miles on the bike. I have not had any issues with the chain or sprocket. I went down a tooth on the front sprocket (14t), adjusted the chain then and haven't needed to touched it since. Keep in mind that these bikes are built to a price point so they're not going to be the best parts, and anything you get from the aftermarket will just be better. Once these parts wear out on my bike, Ill be replacing them with upgraded parts.

Does your bike have spools or is the stand raising it by contacting the swingarm directly?

I do not have any spools, the stand has rubber blocks that raises it by the swing arms
