Really bee careful with the heat. They'll melt if it gets too hot. The temp is easier to control in a bath dip.

No! Don’t do it as the plastic in the flow frames is NOT UV stable and you will destroy them!

You've been running without a QX or with faulty excluders? You really believe those beebread plugs are no impediment to efficient operation of the flutes they embed?
