Great videos mate! I'm an expat in Oz. Been here a decade and love Bowden's! Made for our climate and made here, plus great ingredients. I used to detail my parents cars in the 1990s, as this is when I got my licence (1996). I was detailing some "Lexi"! A 1995 Lexus LS400, a 1998 GS300 and a 1999 RX300. The seats I always used Symbol, so natural I used my bare hands. A huge tip for the best results with leather seats....warm them up, either let sit in the sun for some time or use a hairdryer or heated seats themselves. The products would literally work ten times better when the leather was warm. It opened the pores and caused less wear and potential damage, and was a perfect matte, soft velvety finish that looked as if brand new. Try in and see what you think! Again great vids Cheers mate

Can I also add both products are excellent for revitalizing and restoring badly neglected and abused leather. Recently used on my barn find Bedford truck, after a good dosing of Sublime Clean to remove 20 years of exposure, mutiple applications of Leather Love and final double application of Leather Guard, the orginal leather returned to as new appearance, feel, softness and colour. Several days of work but well worth it for the results. Fully recommended. 👍👍

Andrew Hallett-Patterson wow sounds awesome. I'd really enjoy to spend a bit of time getting something like that back to looking A1. Great stuff!

FocusOnDetailing : You might want to choose something a bit smaller than my truck. It's a ex TNT KM Bedford bogie drive prime mover with Detroit Diesel 6V53N supercharged 2 stroke engine coupled with a Roadranger 10 speed. Just pantina at the moment and will probably stay that way. Looks way too good to destroy by a full rebuild. Keep up the reviews. 👍👍

Your videos are great. I use my vehicles for luxury transfers. I am a complete novice and because you’ve taught myself how to make my vehicles look immaculate with Bowden products… THANKYOU

Do you still have the ute? I'd love to know/see how to DEEP clean the dash!
@uwot90216 жыл бұрын
He sold the ute.
@focusondetailing38556 жыл бұрын
VerifiedAdventures yeah unfortunately I sold it, such a great Ute. I can still film a deep seat and carpet cleaning video if that works
@VerifiedAdventures6 жыл бұрын
Oh no! That sucks my ba dash is going really bad.. what would you recommend?
@focusondetailing38556 жыл бұрын
VerifiedAdventures I believe my BF had a similar issue. You could try to clean it with Sublime Clean or Vinyl Revival from Bowden's but if it's too far gone you can slow the sun damaged look from getting worse by protecting with 303 Aerospace or Carpro Perl.

Thank you so much ill let you know how it goes. its just getting that dry look to it, and i want to restore the deep black back into it

Did the leather love get your steering wheel looking/feeling matte? I have the same car and my steering wheel is shiny :/. So hoping this would make it some what more leathery/the matte look
@focusondetailing38554 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you might be needing a stronger cleaner for the steering wheel than leather love. It can make it a slight improvement but using an all purpose cleaner or even a magic eraser can work. But be careful! The magic eraser can strip a lot away and remove colour from the wheel and can make it worse. Start with the least aggressive method and work your way up
@thecodfather52044 жыл бұрын
@@focusondetailing3855 yeah thought so, thanks mate

I'm a big fan of leather guard, it's a great product mate. As far as smell goes it's great but as you said it doesn't last long. If you really love the leather smell then do yourself a favour and go to the Chemical Guys Australia page and buy the Chemical Guys leather scent, it's the real deal man my BMW loves it! Everyone who gets in my car always comment on the authentic leather smelling seats 😂 seriously though it's brilliant. Here: www.chemguys.com.au/LEATHER-SMELL-p/air_102_16.htm Only $13 and I only use it maybe once a month.

this isn't a review. you don't compare it or have any critique. its just an ad. I've used this stuff, other than the fact its easy to buy from supercheap etc. there is nothing in anyway special about it. its very expensive for what it is. and sadly you're paying for the name on the bottle.
