Might look at giving this method with PCR a go and finishing with Bowdens gear.

Great video, never thought of topping nv jet with Collinite, great idea! Need to use up the bottle I've got!
@focusondetailing38554 жыл бұрын
When using Collinite I've heard some people attach a spray nozzle once warming up the bottle. Sure would make for easier, more precise application. Also a decent idea 👌 Thanks for the comment 👍

Interesting to see the Bowdens PCR used with the buff. Never seen it before! Would like to see a good tutorial on it.

I've used it many times like this now as I find it a little faster and still fantastic results. I think a tutorial on it might be due

Great video Tim. I have only ever used Bowdens PCR applying by hand, so was interested how it went when applied by a DA polisher. Was it hard to buff off? Is it difficult to use in hot weather? Thanks again.
@focusondetailing38554 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I've used it quite a few times now with the da polisher and haven't had any issues. Even by hand sometimes it can be hard to buff off completely, leaving a slight layer of residue but a quick spray of the IPA like that I used in the video fixed that. I don't think temperature plays a major role as I work quite quickly with it but I'm thinking warm weather like that day I filmed was ideal

Is there a Bowden's Own compound product for removing swirls and scratches?
@bec9696 Жыл бұрын
I was hoping to find the answer for that question here too😢
@raksh9 Жыл бұрын
@@bec9696 I'm currently looking at Meguiar's Ultimate Compound for use with a DA polisher, but the Bowden's Own product was formulated with the goal of preserving the original paint without stripping it down, as many compounds might do. I will try the BO Paint Cleanse with a DA polisher first.
@bec9696 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to try the BO first. Then, if it doesn't work, the Megular will have to be the go. I have since read reviews that the BO has removed light swirls and scratches. Fingers 🤞

@@bec9696 That's good to know, I'm optimistic about the BO product. Just have to find the time to do the car!

I received a reply today from BO and they recommended the Meguiars Ultimate Compound you said. Time definitely is the problem. We need an 8th day in our weeks🤣

@@hadiskids321 Thank you for the support! I have actually compiled a how-to when it comes to interior cleaning already if you'd like to check it out. Although it could probably go with some updating kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaTHdKN8fr9lfa8
