I am over 50. I have always scrubbed floors on my hands and knees, mom use to say your closer to the floor to see the dirt, and while you’re down there you can Pray. 😉 your next purchase should be a new kitchen sink and faucet. Suggest a stainless steel sink large open sink, no divided areas. You would love it. Great job, thanks for the video

Hi your flooring look’s great and I love your rug. Just a suggestion, you mentioned seat pad’s for your chairs. You could get foam for them, cut to size. Then maybe your friend could make matching covers for your bench and chairs. Have a lovely weekend 😊

I just recently started washing my floor on my hands and knees too! I wash the upper floor one week and bottom floor another week. I should get some pads too for my knees, I am not getting any younger lol! Great job! Loving the changes to your home, looks sooo comfy!

I love that Method Daily Shower Spray! I love that you don’t have to rinse it if you don’t want to, and it also smells really good. I also use the Dollar Store’s version of pads for the Swiffer Wet Jet. They work really good, and you certainly can’t beat the price!! I don’t use the Swiffer dry mop, but I think it’s really cool that your daughter made that observation! Geez, when I was 12, I was basically clueless about stuff like that!! Lol!

Susan- hey! Yes, the smell is GONE. The pipes had a little stench it seemed like so that’s why I went over it with draino and then some bleach. The lime really does work. And of course just allowing it to dry out in the sun. We kept some sides off the skirt while it dried up. Thanks for watching ☺️

You might wanna check Dollar Tree for the drain cleaner. They have the 2 use size bottles if your drains don't clog often. They also have screen type drain catches for most sized drains so you don't get the clogs to start.

Pamela! Hi! My first rug I ordered on amazon and it came rolled up and did not have creases. The rug I have now I got at the home depot and it does not have creases! Its pretty hard to get creases out of rugs, you typically have to take it somewhere and have it stretched if you cannot do it yourself. I only know because surprise surprise my husband used to clean custom rugs for extremely rich people lol! I got the shower curtain from walmart and thank you for noticing! I have lost weight ;) Thanks for watching!

And since I've been watch8ng I see that u renovated your home well did some awesome projects I have a suggestion a couple.of them if you don't mind and I actually took some of ur ideas as well for my home like the fridge liners girl so much easier so here's my suggestions you know your sink in the bathroom I had the same sink if I am.seeing eight it has swirls in the sink and counter if that make sense so what I did was went ro Walmart and I got the sink paint and painted my sink all white again.and for my kitchen sink I painted then copper looks so so cook I had a black sink like urs I painted them black until I got that idea for the copper sink so just a suggestion. Of you want to upgrade or not I just love watching home improvements it gets me motivated

Ok so the flooring, are y’all putting a couple lines of flooring together before installing it? It looks like the same flooring I used if so and I am wondering how that’s worked out, because I still have a lot left to go.

Yes! So we would stop in certain areas. So he did the laundry area and the hall as one section. Then later we ripped up the living room floor and layed the new living room floor. And he would cut them and then clip. It’s worked out great. It’s not the easiest though to install. Many times I had to help him on the other side clip it in and then he would finish inserting it the rest of the way by hitting it with an old piece of laminate wood and a hammer. Sometimes it wouldn’t clip all the way together and they weren’t lined up so that was a struggle, but the hammer and two people sometimes helps. My husband will be the first to tell you he hates installing floors lol.

Will you ever do a sit down video and talk about the prices of the renos for materials? I know yall are buying a lot of stuff second-hand and doing the work yourself but I have been interested in buying a trailer home that needs a lot of TLC as well but then I freak myself out thinking it isn't worth the money I would have to invest! I saw a trailer for FREE not long ago, the only caveat being that you had to remove it to your own land at your expense, and I nearly jumped on that and then totally chickened out bc of the fear of the cost being way over my head! Love your channel!!!

That’s a great idea! I will write it down. Yes I have seen many of those too! Those are great if someone has land already and has the few thousand it cost to move it. And then of course the additional thousands you would need for material and labor. In the long run, it’s still a fraction of the price you pay for a “stick built”. I know of people that do it! That’s what inspired me to start now. However, I have a husband who can learn just about anything when it comes to the house so price is cut in half because of that. Even after labor costs I still truly believe it’s the less expensive route and it’s custom to you. Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️❤️
