I think it’s nice when a husband and wife give each other gifts even if they’re small gifts because it shows the children that you think they are important enough to buy for and do something special for them.

I completely agree. I give my grandkids money so they can buy small gifts for mum and dad, and their aunty and uncle who don't have children and are very good to them. They wrap them and give them out and get such a kick out of it. I'm trying to show them that it's a lot of fun to find a gift that will please someone without it costing lots of money.

I love your cooking n also seeing the kids helping. I used to play cooking channel with my granddaughter and she lived it. She had to go to go to bathroom and she whispered to me what to do. I promptly looked in front n said folks we're going to station break n we will be right back.

I love your content as is. You're easy to listen to and provide excellent tips. On the family vlog, I love it too. Personally I skip over some of Bobby's technical content because it doesn't apply to me, but I can see how it would benefit a young family. Funny story re: wrapping presents: when I was up to my eyeballs in wrapping paper, tape etc for just 2 kids I asked my Mom how she managed wrapping gifts for 6 kids. She said "Santa doesn't wrap gifts." It was my aha moment but I was already committed to wrapping gifts for my kids so I couldn't change it at that point.

Also tip for the shower that I use and it makes it EASY. You’ve prob heard of it - but I keep a dish wand on a command hook and each night I do a different section. The trick is to keep up with it 😅 I say that bc occasionally I don’t and regret it. I do one wall, then next night the next, then the doors, then floors, etc and when I do my weekly cleaning in there I don’t have to worry about it - just toilets and sinks. SUPER helpful. I HATE cleaning the shower too! I do it as soon as I get in and it literally takes 2 minutes max each night.

We do the same as you. We love going to universal Studios so we get annual passes every year. They always get renewed in December so that's our Christmas gift to each other! Then we put a small gift in each others stocking! 😀🎄🎄❤

I’m driving with my son to my sister’s house about 2 hours south of me. There will be some presents tonight and more tomorrow. Not sure how dinner tomorrow is going. Hi Cambria, I put my decor up early too. I leave it up until after New Year’s. Start slowly taking it down so it’s not so abrupt. I keep my usual decor in the closet for a while for the clean look. I’m also a neutral color person. My kids are grown and I don’t ask for anything but I always get lots of money. I did ask my Son and daughter in law who can build anything and everything, to frame my TV. I got sick, I’m fine now ,so, it’ll get done later. I’m starting spaghetti sauce today for tomorrow’s dinner. I can’t do the traditional food thanksgiving and Christmas. We’ll have snacky food out all day. I saw Red One and loved it. My newest favorite is Something from Tiffany’s on prime. I love the cooking added in to the decluttering and cleaning. Cooking KZbinrs seem to make all the same recipes and it gets old. I’ve made several of the things you’ve made. Have a very Merry Christmas 🎄

I'm all ready for Christmas Day, but I need to clean up my bedroom a little bit before I go over to my boyfriend's house for Christmas Eve dinner. I can't believe that it's Christmas Eve already! I love all your content on both channels. The only ones I don't watch are the holiday decor ones, but that only because I don't decorate for any holiday. Don't get me wrong, I have decorations but they are part of my everyday decor. I have a couple of Nativities up and I have one Thanksgiving sign up that says blessed and thankful because I think we should feel that all year long. To me any decoration beyond the reason for the season, I don't feel the need to put up. That's just personal preference and personal convictions. Anyway, Merry Christmas ❤❤

We don’t give Christmas gifts to each other either but hubby has his birthday on Christmas Day so we make a bigger deal of adult birthdays rather than Christmas. I’d love to hear about what acts of service you did! I made homemade granola for my mom, because that’s what she eats for breakfast every morning. For my brother and his wife, who has tons of health problems and can’t keep their house very clean anymore (my brother is physically capable, but he struggles with anxiety, depression, and laziness, quite frankly), we cleaned their living room carpet. We brought our vacuum and carpet cleaner when we came for Christmas Day. I literally vacuumed five times with dirt and fur still coming up (though my SIL was like “you don’t need to vacuum! I just vacuumed!”), and then my husband used our carpet cleaner on it, and there were still little hairballs coming out! And I went upstairs and vacuumed my mom’s room, because she can’t do it anymore. I’m really happy we were able to do that instead of giving them more STUFF they don’t need. (They already have waaaay too much.)
