My dyson needed a good clean as it was really dusty so I decided to give it a clean. This is the first time I have cleaned this hoover and it went pretty well.

How to you get the clear plastic dust chamber off? Im scared of vteaking it but you jist seemed to magically remove it?

Oh it's ok I get it, you have to release the waste flap which reveals a trigger button!

Sorry I've only just seen this message. Yes if you press the button it comes off, I give it a slight twist as well (Very gently) and it works 😃

Hello, I was wondering if the Dyson is damaged by getting the top of the vacuum cleaner wet? Where does the filter go? I have that Dyson but an older model and I want to clean it thoroughly but I am afraid that I will ruin it and it will no longer work.thank

Hi, I don't have that vacuum anymore and I can't quite remember 😔 I think it would be best to see if Dyson has a manual you can look at before you clean yours 😁

Hello is your Dyson working well after cleaning the cyclone under water like that? I want to do it too but Dyson does not recommend that but I have no idea how to clean it properly otherwise? Very tempted to try but don’t want to break the hoover

Hi, mine is fine, perhaps it ls worth watching a few others on how they clean them. It was my first time so not 100% sure it was the right way to do it lol....I have since found a KZbin channel called clean my space and they have some videos on how to clean them, hope that helps 😀

that head part done my head in u cant open it its crap, mines got crap in it because i hoovered the carpet when it was wet. and i rang up Dyson and man they are slow they dont even know what they are talking about. whats more annoying is u hardly have to take the 2 filters out to be cleaned. its the container and head that looks minging.

Yeah, even after cleaning them, they never look that clean! It's like the plastic just holds onto dust / little particles and won't go clear no matter how much you try.

@@SparkleWithElouise do u ever use the pipe? mine was new and its never sucked well with the pipe at all. its not worth it. i should of just got a henry but i didnt want to buy bags.

My pipe part is practically useless now. It worked for a while when I first got the hoover, and after i cleaned it, but as time went by, it's just lost suction 😪 Tbh I don't think it's going to be long before I need a new hoover and I'm not sure what one to go for, I have heard that Henry's are good but I've never had one. I watch other cleaning youtubers, and they all seem to like sharks, but I've not had one of those either.

@@SparkleWithElouise henry are built well and light and good suction and no fucking about cleaning it but change bags if u can find a place that sells them. also shark ive never tried but i think that was one i was looking at befor it has lights on the front byt decided to choose dyson like an idiot lol
