That car is NOT a Ford Transit MK7. Dunno what it is. I also wouldn't waste a good pocket knife on an EGR valve.

Hi. I've got a machanic changing the EGR valve. For some reason while doing this he has soaked the whole engine with engine oil. Not sure if he knows what he is doing. Is this a normal thing that happens when changing or is he messing up my van? Thanks.

A friend of mine removed the EGR on his Mercedes Sprinter and got 20 - 30% lower fuel consumption. Many other have reported similar results removing the EGR on other car brands also...
