Brushing those discolored areas on the coldplate with a little normal white toothpaste did the trick for me. Though they tend to re-appear again after just a few weeks... really wish they used o-rings there.

I have one of these too and I noticed that putting the cheap EK 3W/mK pads on the components that don't get as hot as the GDDRX memory can help me save a lot of high quality pads, which I can use later when I'm doing maintenance on this graphics card.

Hey great video. Kind of sucks to have to do this after only 10 months. Sure looks like more work that I do about every 10 months cleaning out my Antec Torque.

Looking forward to the Meshlicious build! I was planning on building a custom loop in the H1 but came across a good deal on a 5800x and wasn't more cooling. The plan now is to build in the Meshlicious with dual radiators. Excited to see how you go about it!

@@EIGAtech I'll check out out! Currently have my build in the Meshlicious but just with an AIO and the standoff mod for both the motherboard and GPU. I'm really impressed by temps though. I sit at 67-69 on both the CPU and GPU when gaming. This is on a Ryzen 7 3800x and a 3080ti FE.

Two of the screws on the cold plate are shorter and I forgot where they go. I was hoping these videos would talk about them but no one mentions it

the cause to this i think is EK Cryofuel, before used cyrofuel i had used other brand like bykski clear concentrate for over a yrs and my block still look like new. But after i try using Ek cryofuel after like 2 month i can see a layer on my block and look like yours
@EIGAtech

I have seen reports of that happening with EK Cryofuel concentrate, but the one I used is premix. I also have the Corsair XG7 3080 waterblock with the same EK Cryofuel Clear in it and that one looks pristine!

It’s astonishing what EK can can get away with by simply stating “this is normal”. I think I need to clean mine, but the thought of having to do all those pads again puts me off.

same issues with the 3090mod, Ek doesn't care, nor refund or discount, and avoid mystic fog coolant!! had green blueish spots between plei and block,same problem as yours!

So I'm cleaning mine and I can't for the life of me remove the two acrylic bits above the jet plane. It just isn't budging at ALL. I'm worried I'm going to break them.
@EIGAtech

My block is just collecting dust at the moment, but if you've used it a lot my guess those acrylic bits are just stuck to the fins. They should come off though...

Just got this block from EK, kinda regretting my decision after seeing the result. How’s the block holding up now?
@EIGAtech
@EIGAtech Жыл бұрын
Block is no longer in a build but it still holds up fine. I got some metal polish to try on that last remaining stained spot but I did not get around to it yet. In any case, the performance of the block was never an issue.

Great video 👍 How was your memory temps after putting the better thermal pads on there? I'm considering getting some Gelids but not sure how much of an improvement I'll see....
@EIGAtech
@EIGAtech 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I couldn't say for certain. The specs on the Gelids are way better than the stock EK pads, but I have not done any 1:1 testing with the same setup, etc. The Gelids should also sweat less than the EK pads. If you already have the block installed stick with the stock pads and maybe get Gelids for later.

You went from T1 to Meshlicious? Which one you like better? I'm thinking about going with T1 v2 with dual rad (240 and 280).
@EIGAtech
@EIGAtech 2 жыл бұрын
Correct! The Meshlicious has absolutely spectacular thermals with a 280 rad custom loop. Design wise T1 wins. I hope to have the new video about the Meshli uploaded soon. I will no doubt take a look at the T1 v2 as well when it is finalized.

Which pin input did you plug the eisbaer lt solo into on the motherboard, can you help me? I also do custom loop for nzxt h1
@EIGAtech
@EIGAtech 2 жыл бұрын
You should use the system fan input. You can plug the 3pin header into a 4pin, the last pin isn't needed as the pump doesn't use a PWM signal.

Yes, it's really thin and easy to bend. I've seen replacement ones on Aliexpress that look stronger. It has not been an issue for me, but it's disappointing to see for such a heavy and expensive block.

NZXT H1 Custom Loop | Need a Advice I want to make similiar custoom loop made by optimum tech and you. I have Lt Solo and NexXxos st30 v2 140mm radiator. And a waterblock for the video card. Tubing is ek ZMT . How do you think I should fill the system? which way should i follow? I added a 3-way fitting to the waterblock, it can also be filled from here. There is also a filling part of the lt solo, as well as the filling part of the radiator. How do i fill the loop in the best and maximum efficient way?
@EIGAtech
@EIGAtech 2 жыл бұрын
Patience is the key here. First, start by filling up at least a few ml into the LT Solo fill port. Then, the radiator and finally the gpu 3-way splitter (whichever is highest last). Turn the case on all sides and give it a small shake, very carefully. Open the 3-way fill port again and add more liquid, being mindful that liquid might pour out when you open it, have towels ready just in case. Once a decent quantity of liquid is in, then you can start running the pump for 10 seconds at a time, while adding more and more liquid. If the 3 way is not exactly at the top of the loop, place the case on its side in such a way that the fill port is at the highest possible point. I made all my builds so far with at least one fill port that is at the highest point of the loop, it makes everything much easier. Also I cover pretty much everything in towels just in case - I always end up spilling a bit.
