You did a great job Cambria. I am a mum of 3 kids, recently i feel so guilty for not spending enough time with my family. I dont have a good a vacuum cleaner and prefer using a broom, I dont have a dish washer(never seen one my life)also I dont have a washing machine. I feel like I don't spent time with my kids & husband coz I am spending so much time cleaning, by 7 p.m I am so tired, I am ready to hand over to my hubby and head to bed. You can imagine handwashing clothes for a family of 5😢 Watching from Africa-Kenya

Well, I used social stories, a visual schedule & timer to aid in getting my son toilet trained. I went to my local Child Mental Health office, made an appointment with a Child Psychologist, sat down discussed my son’s toileting issues (non-medical issues) & she put me in contact with a team of fantastic people that deals with getting kiddos that are harder to toilet train on the right tract & they provided all kinds of aids & ideas for a successful transition. Now my son is autistic, and he was 7 when it all fell in to place. But, the help is there for ALL kiddos, not just kids with underlying issues. Good luck! PS: I used 2 motivators for every successful toilet experience: 1) he LOVED gummy bears 2) he got a balloon (these were only allowed & given for this endeavour).

It’s been a little while for me, but I remember putting a long T-shirt on my daughter and we just stayed home for a few days and she realized that I wasn’t putting a diaper on her anymore and she used the toilet. But all kids are different. Unfortunately good luck.😊

We had a system for my son, we used five plastic Easter eggs. (One of each color) I would put something small in each, a toy, stickers, coins, etc. But he wouldn’t know what was in each. As soon as he would go on the potty, he could choose which color he wanted, and he could have the prize after he washed his hands. Then I would refill and replace the egg when he wasn’t looking. It was just enough to keep him interested and excited. They were out where he could see them but out of his reach so he couldn’t get to them without me.

I struggled with my daughter with #2 when she was that age also especially after she found out I was pregnant with a new baby. She would literally hide in her closet and 💩 her pants! She would even go put on a pull up so she could go! I tried m&ms, stickers, a potty chart, underwear with her favorite characters, potty dances, you name it! The only thing that finally worked was popsicles! Like the freeze pops in the plastic wrapper. I was like every time you go in the potty you can have one. I started cutting them in half so she didn't get too much, but I didn't care as long as she went. After a couple weeks or so she had it down so it was fine, but yeah popsicles for the win! Also I had to ditch pull ups. As convenient as they were I think they still felt like a diaper so she didn't really feel any different wearing them. Hope this helps! From a mama of 2 strong willed girls.

We had the same issue with our son. We had him pick out a new toy, he picked out a train. We put it in the bathroom where he could see it. Once he used the potty he could play with it. We put it back after about 30 minutes and overnight for sure. It took about a week or so and we no longer had to use the toy! Hang in there! She'll get it!!

our 4 yr old grandson wasn't going #2 either..but he would do #1 all day and never wear pullups day or night...never had a #1 accident...refused to #2 anywhere but home in his pants behind his bedroom door. Then our daughter decided to start "grounding" him from his shows and certain things he wanted to do until he used #2 in potty...He been perfect so far...it actually took him till he was about 3 1/2 . He would come to our house for the weekend and he would hold his #2 until he got back home..😂😂😂❤ there's not alot of door to door here in the panhandle either..its more trunk or treat

Our pediatric urology said they are not mentally ready and leave them alone they will show you when ready. Also said pull ups are glorified diapers and confuse them. I let all of my kids tell me. My oldest wAs completely done by 2, it took seeing a little friend potty and underwear and she was trained. Just be patient and it will happen. Great video! I hope no morning sickness !!!

Hi Cambriea, now keep in mind I'm 67 so it's been many years but my kids pediatrician told me that kids have always worn a diaper or pull ups (in my days it was the thick training underpants) but with that being said she said they have been used to something catching it (#2) and there is a fear of it just dropping. She also said reading a book to them or, in Freya's case, let her take her tablet with her. Just a thought. Anyway, I hope you have an awesome weekend and enjoy Halloween. I've had covid and can't seem to shake it and I'm extremely tired and no energy.😢

Our oldest two girls were so easy to potty train and were trained by 2. Our 3rd wasn't potty trained until she was 4. She knew, she just refused. Our youngest still has nighttime accidents. Potty training is stressful on everyone involved. Keep asking and giving her reminders to go potty. Make a huge deal out of it when she does go. We basically threw a parade when ours would use the potty. She'll catch on eventually ❤

Potty training for number 2 was a struggle for us as well with my daughter. She was actually afraid to do it, so we started with her just sitting in her diaper on the potty when she had to poo, then we loosened the diaper, then we laid the diaper between the seat and the bowl for her to do her business, but in the end, it was the huge bribe of a guinea pig that did the trick. Lol! We were so thrilled when she finally was successful, we went immediately to the pet store to pick the guinea pig out. By the way, she is 35-years old, so this was forever ago, but I remember the frustration. Good luck!

oh potty training such a fun time! haha here's a suggestion. take her to the dollar store let her pick out about 20 things. put those in a basket and call them " potty presents" EVERY time and the ONLY time she gets to get something from there is if she does the deed. when she's mastered it give her a jackpot gift. something she would love. you said you tried bribing her? try that. hope you have a great day cambriea. hope you are feeling well. and as always thank you for the video!

All 6 of mine were potty trained on or before their second birthday. I didn't wait for signs back then we didn't hear of such things. My oldest is 30 my youngest is 14. Two weeks before their 2nd birthday I eliminated all diapers poof gone no more. For bedtime use a mattress protector and make sure no liquids 2hrs before bed. Daytime take to the potty every 30 minutes to 1 hr once they master that then every two hours ect. For the car I had a potty that stayed in the car along with wipes, clean clothes and plastic baggies for garbage and wet clothes. The same thing even in public every two hours take them to the bathroom. It took about two weeks to get them potty trained. It's a lot of hard work and patience I don't miss that stage.

Our daughters are the same age (within a few months) and I’ve had the same issue with my little one. We’ve been potty training for about 5 months now and she still has accidents. She refuses to tell me if she has to go potty. If I do t ask her every 20 minutes or so and make her go even if she tells me no, which she does every time, she has accidents. As for #2 that’s still the biggest struggle. She rather poop in the closet than the potty. I have no advice that I’m sure you haven’t tried but you aren’t alone. It isn’t you or anything you are doing wrong kids tend to do that on their own time. Me being pregnant has made things more difficult because I think she kind of knows she won’t be the baby anymore.

Cambrian, my daughter 46 years ago seemed a lot like Freya - she totally understand about the potty, but just wouldn’t do it for me. I think it was something that she could control that she knew drove me crazy. She was three as well. Anyway, I had an appointment one afternoon and left her with a friend of mine and took her diaper bag so she would be prepared. When I returned later in the afternoon, my daughter was wearing a pair of my friend’s son’s underpants, and my friend told me that she had explained to my daughter that she was a big girl and that big girls did not wear diapers and used the potty in her house. That was it! My daughter never wore a diaper again, even at night. It just took an outsider telling her what was what. Go figure, lol!

He said that if they had not mastered it by age five call me and we will talk about it! I stopped obsessing. Latter I used an alarm . Every 10 minutes for an entire day of potty training. Bingo it worked. I just devoted one whole day to it. Next day my son said “ It’s ok mommy I can do it !

My granddaughters turned 3 in September. My daughter starting potty training them when they were 2 using pull ups. Just wasn't happening. She stopped until they were 2 1/2 using training pants. They were doing better but still pooping in training pants. Right before they turned 3 my daughter bought them panties. Took them to store and let them pick them out. 99% of the time they will go on their potty. The only time they have a pull up is nap and bed time. It seems they have the accidents when they are tired.

When my kids were little (1993- 1995) research said that the average age of potty training for girls was 3 to 3/12 and for boys almost 4. My oldest daughter was 3 1/2 and the youngest almost 4. I never really pushed them I let them do it at their own speed. When they were ready it was practically over night, they never had accidents (unless they were sick). with both of them I ended up with a bunch of leftover pull ups because I bought them in bulk. I've heard so many people brag about how their kid was 2 ect. and I'd ask how often did they have accidents and they'd be like, "all the time" I say wait til she'd ready and she'll probably not have accident.
