Cleaning / Unclog the TX800 Print Head on a UV Printer. DONT BUY NEW UNTILL YOU WATCH THIS!

Hey guys. im slowly getting better so hope this sniffing and coughing dont get on your tits lol. If you have any questions please leave a comment and ill get back to you quickly as im very active on here lately.
When you get a clog and ask your tech for help on your uv printer, the likely answer you will is that you need to replace the head. This will likely be $100 or more and take a goos 5+ days too arrive. If you have followed your manufactures guide on cleaning and cant get it to unclog please watch this video and see if my process helps you. failing this. you could remove your head totally off your machine and remove the cables then soak the bottom part (where the ink comes out) in cleaner for a few hrs/ over night but make sue you dont submerse it in the cleaner, only have the cleaner up to the small metal surround and dont go near the electronics.

Great to hear some insights form someone here in the UK. They dont look so bad as long as maintenance is kept on top of. Im just about to order a Refine Colour model. Where do you purchase your ink from? Im just trying to work out running costs.

Great video, just imported our second machine and had issues getting it up and running, learned loads about the maintenance so trying another Chinese supplier now. I notice you removed the small black clip from the damper. Does this always need removing? I never did this and wonder if that caused an issue.

Any advice on getting the ribbon cables back into the head would be appreciated. I don't seem to be able to do that without damaging them!

Thank you for the video. My first printhead for a UV Printer is broken. Now i dont know which new one i should buy. There are so many arround with big price differences. Have some of you tips or experience. Are there really a difference between the Heads? Thank you for some help.

What about that damper seal? Is it a seal that you can replace? What parts have to be replaced? Do I need to bleed the printhead back?

sorry for the delay.so it depends on various factors.heres an example. my friend had his printer in a uninsulated shed here in the uk without using the heater on the head.he would use his printer most days but would go through heads every 2-3 months. i have my printer in a warm house where it is normally 20+ deg c, i leave the heater on the printhead and i use it a few times a week and my printhead went on for over 1 year before it started to play up. the thing i would say to him is that the cold likely didnt help him and especially not having the heater on but the amount of products he could make on it should have helped with the price of head replacements so it was likely to need replacing more than mine but if he worked on getting it in an area that had steady warm weather then he could have likely improved the life of it.

Hi... i tried this process. All the inks are working besides the black. When i try to syringe the cleaning liquid the black ink through the head, It builds up pressure and shoots out.

Hello, i watched your video to cleaning the Print Head. But when i cleaned it up and put it back, it's same like the print head was stucked. Two color are not really out of ink. Am i do something wrong? 🙏🏼🙏🏼 English isn't my native language, so sorry for my poor English.

you can only keep trying and if no joy then you may need another one.if you can before you buy new,swap over to the other channel.i.e put colour head on white channel and white head on colour channel and see if you get the same results.also have you checked dampers are fine. good thing to note,if there is ink around the bottom of the damper on the head then damper seal is gone and wil likely be pulling air in and will need replacing

Why does the white print head keep clogging it is fustrsting

the white has small particals in the white colour that need to be continually stirred ,first i would check that your paddle inside your white container is working. you can also buy a milk frother to help stir the paint more. also check that you have good new ink and not a poor quality white or out of date.remember that white paint has a shelf life of 6 months

sorry for the delay. so i would look at reviews before purchasing heads cause some can claim to be good but then not. i do find you can purchase one from amazon and then get your money back if they dont work or just looks at good reviews of companies on aliexpress to find one that will take returns
