UV Printer Instructions For Rainbow UV Desktop Printer

Nice video! I bought an A3 printer a few months ago, it has been working well so far! I was a newbie so there were a few issues about dealing with the photos i print at beginning, but with the kind assistance from Kane I got used to it soon. now the printer is busy with my Christmas orders, quite satisfied with this shopping experience!

Hi, I recently purchased one of these machines and used your videos to speed up my learning. I have 20+ yrs experience in IT and there is no substitute for hands-on experience, in my opinion, so thanks for the videos. I've just watched the Maintop video and using Photoshop to speed the process up is an excellent idea, I was thinking this myself so it's good to get that reinforced.

Love the amount of information in your video😍 but my only problem left is that i can't seem to figure out how to save new images in the recommend format to print it any help would be great Thanks!

so you just need to create your image in something like photoshop and when finished save it as a TIF file.then in maintop load up that TIF file and once you have confirmed size etc you then save that as a PRN file. then in wellprint open the PRN file and your ready to print to your media.it may be slightly different if your using different software/rip for your printer.

dont get the same as me as i cant advise using this company.if your new to uv printing i suggest finding a company that supports there customers after purchase.ive heard many good things about jucolor but your welcome to come over too our facebook page as there are many people that use various chinese printers that will give you there experiences with different companies

Can you get neon colors for these uv printers? Colors that are reactive under black lights?

i have heard of a fluorescent pigments which i guess will be mixed into the ink but i dont know if they would work in these epson converted heads

Regarding the cables, when we got the printer we did NOT have stickers on them saying j6. As I understand it, so long as it's plugged into the print head properly, all the cables are technically the same

yes there the same cables.just make sure the cross and go into the correct slots

Setting up a rainbow nano 7 tomorrow, it arrived undamaged so inattention should not be a problem

Hello I am finally installing my Rainbow printer that I've had stored for a little over two years. I'm pretty sure that the whole ink line including the varnish that I purchased with the unit is no longer good. Are you only using Rainbow''s ink or have you found a cheaper alternative? If you are using Rainbow's ink and varnish can you give me an estimate on the pricing that I should be expect from Rainbow?

oh i hope it doesnt cause you too much pain. i only really advise other machines really now but do still have one currently. i did switch as the ink from rainbow as i felt like i have a better experience with other ink that is cheaper, gets to me faster and comes with free delivery to the uk. its a company on aliexpress called OCBESTJET. come across to our facebook page if you havent already thats in the description and theres many of us that will help you along the way.

Are you still looking to buy one as I'm better off asking some questions first to judge usability as its 1 thing to buy it but its another to use it. It is nothing like an inkjet printer you buy in a store. I don't want you to throw $6000 into something that might not be right for you.

hey.yes ofcourse.so briefly you need 3 pieces of software.Photoshop, maintop and wellprint.(well there may be other combinations like coral paint instead of photoshop but this is how i do it) create and edit your jpg or pdf in photoshop. when you have that complete save as and change the file type to TIFF. then in maintop load that TIFF file you just saved.you have to do a few steps in maintop which i think i have the steps in old videos but im updating this weekend.then when done in maintop you click print file to and that will save it as a PRN file. check back over the next day or 2 and i should have an update video that will help you.
