Hahaha I'm so glad I am not the only one who cleans the shower while I'm in the shower! My fans are horrendous! Always! I had the same floors in my house at Fort Stewart that you have in your bedroom. The whole main floor! I had to scrub them on hands and knees then. I wish I would have had my spin brush then!

Hi Cambriea, great motivational video as usual. In my family we don’t buy gifts for adults, only children. On top of that we give each other ideas on what their kids could use and ours so that they actually get stuff that they want. It has been working really well for us. This avoids a lot of hustle, stress and money being wasted on stuff that they don’t like.

In my family we also give gifts to kids only but only my kids not nephews or nieces, same with my sister's or brothers kids they give only to their kids not mine because we are a big family and we have a lot of kids in family my parents don't buy presents for any of the kids because is a lot of money to buy something for everyone but we do give presents for my parents or parents-in - law

I only have one sister with two kids. So we exchange a $15 gift between the adults and splurge a little more on the kids. However my husband has a huge amount of siblings, we just buy for the younger kids on his side. Love the cleaning motivation!!!

Yes you want to rinse it well witch is why the mop only had hot water in it plus I ended up doing a second mop later in the day

Our fans are the same way 😅 We run them pretty much 24/7 (Florida problems), but we turned them off since it's been a little chilly lately. Definitely was like, oh, oops! We only buy for our kids, and my dad. My siblings stopped talking to me after my mom passed and i no longer have living grandparents. It definitely makes things easy 😅

My friend has LVP floors with a texture like yours and they used the carpet cleaner on it with great success. Maybe you could try that since you enjoy cleaning your carpets with the machine.

Its my hubby Mike's family that we see for Christmas. Mine is too far away & they never come to IN to visit anyway so... He has 2 brothers and we have 3 nieces between them. Mike & I have no kids. Now two of the girls have babies. We did at one time draw names to buy for each other. We did it at Thanksgiving, too. But last few years have been rough for all of us. Especially now his dad (and my dad) both passed away. We been struggling financially so we haven't bought any gifts. We didn't even draw names or any of it. His mom is buying like 1 or 2 gifts for all of us. That's it this year. Then if anyone else decides to buy gifts that is fine. Mike & I don't expect anything. And when mom asked for ideas we said practical things like toilet paper, laundry soap, etc. 👍💖🙏

I'm the oldest of 3 girls and don't have kids. This year was a bit tough so I told my sisters I didn't get Christmas presents for them or their spouses. They understand. I did get presents for my nieces and nephews ranging in age from 9-23. I do like to get family gifts so a game or a movie. I have and did get raved reviews for the Popcorn Factory tin and Cheryl's Cookies purchased. I like to do the popcorn as our grandmother did that.

I will say that fans and dogs are generally both very bad for people with asthma. Strong smelling cleaners also are a huge trigger for asthma. Fans being on also triggers eczema. The things that helped my allergies and eczema and asthma the most was: No pets (when my last dog passed away, everything got so much better) No fans, ever Humidifier Only non scented and non dyed cleaning supplies. Everything free and clear and gentle. T gel/tar soap Aveeno oat lotion

Virtually everyone in America have the same metal sink with the grid at the button to they really look terrible the grid to me is such a waste of time, but everyone piles the pots into the sink (why) ! Scrape them stack them up ready for the dish washer, I’ve seen so many ladies sponge up with Dawn liquid on the face sponges tap running water wash the crockery then put into the dishwasher to wash (Why) ! You have already washed them ! The Duisburg washer pods have a pre- wash. cleaner/ wash cleaner/ then a polish. Liquid you have just waisted all the water from the tap your dishwasher uses less water then a sink of water, no one puts pans into the dishwasher either (why). ! As long as you take them out when it’s finished and wipe them they are fine x

We don’t do gifts with most extended family. With the exception of my sister because we actually raised her from 10 until 18 so she’s basically one of our kids. We used to do presents for my MIL, but my she has had some serious money issues in the last few years so we cut those gifts out too so that she doesn’t feel like she should go further in debt to get us stuff.

My family is small. My only full Sister passed away in 2018. I’m estranged from my other two half sisters. Most of my grandparents have passed and my Dad passed in July. My Husband is an only child and all of his Grandparents have passed as well as his father so it’s just him and his mom. We do have two kids and they have children themselves. The rule we’ve had the past few years is what I like to call the “trickle down” effect. Basically you can buy for your own children (spouses) if you want to and your grandchildren. We do it this way because some of our family has a super tight budget so we don’t want to put pressure on anyone to give. The most important people are the littles anyway. In the trickle down effect, you don’t purchase for people higher up than you. So we don’t purchase for our parents or extended family.
