I wish I had someone like you to inspire me when I was raising my family. I was a stay at home mom and even though I thought I was so lucky to be with my children and always be there for them, some people thought it terrible that I didn't contribute to the household by having a job. Excuse me, I had a job! Taking care of my kids and making sure they would grow up to be wonderful adults was the most important job any mother could have!! Thank you so much for your videos!! Your children, you and hubby are wonderful people!!! So much to admire in all of you!!!

Oh my goodness did your video resonate with me deeply. I'm not even all the way through but I felt it very important to pause to tell you that you, Kim, are more than enough. You are so right, we lift everybody up around us yet criticize ourselves with comments in our minds that we would never consider saying to another person. You you you are enough. And I'm going to start reminding myself that I am enough to. Thank you for this reminder. And, continue to talk over your videos instead of music, I love hearing what you have to say!

Kathy McClure for some reason, reading your comment made the quote or whatever come into my head that, every artist is their own biggest critic. They might be creating some amazing art that is loved by everyone, but all they see are the flaws and things they could have done better. All of this really puts that into perspective.

BTW l started sobbing at the Quote, what a much better perspective.... now where are my tissues.

Actually. They do. If it is always messy. And if you don't clean enough to have it at least sometimes on order. Which is not the case with Kim. She does a great job. Our home looked sooo dirty and messy as I grew up when I was little and I remember that kids would talk about me in school because of our home. And that I didn't fealt comfortable in there. But no one thought me how to clean until I was a 17 It was this "let the kids play it is their childhood " mentality that I couldn't even help her to don't be so ashamed of our home.
@brilliantbutblue4 жыл бұрын
@@florencejoy5209: I think l know where you are coming from. There is a difference between a mess and inhabitable living conditions. I am truly sorry your childhood was like that. Can l just say (no disrespect to your comment, we are all Adults here), that my Daughter remembers me being in Hospital and rehab for 6months after l had a stroke when she was merely 3yrs old, but she honestly cannot remember if the house was clean or messy in my absence. Hope you found a balance in your home when you grew up. Yes Kim does an amazing job.

I wanted my house clean for my husband when he got home (he gets home a little before midnight) but my son just wanted to be held, and would wake up every 3-5 minutes after I tried to leave him. Loading the dishwasher and sweeping the floors took two hours. You’re absolutely right, a messy home is not the end of the world. Thanks for your kind words, love to watch your videos, I always smile when watching them. And its so true about what you said regarding the cleaning. I’m a mother of 4 boys ( 5 including my husband, lol) and let me tell you that I used to always wanted to do everything in one day, from going to work coming home, clean, cook, wash, mop, take care of the kids.... you name it, it was so stressful, I felt like if I didn’t keep up with my house duties I wasn’t being a good mother and wife I would be so hard on myself. But it only took one day when I went to work and my blood pressure dropped, the worst feeling ever. It was that day when I realized and said what the heck to hell with this. Now I’m a stay home wife, there’s days when I don’t do anything at all around the house just spend the day with my boys and enjoy making memories with them, because at the end of the day the dishes will still be waiting for me when I get to them, the mess will still be there until I get to it, laundry is not going anywhere, ALL of this stuff can wait. I have a soon to be 1 baby and I’m enjoying him to the fullest something I didn’t and couldn’t do with my other boys, because I had to work. Now I set my to do list and certain days I do different things around the house. And let me tell you I don’t regret it a bit or I’m not hard on myself when my house is a mess, because it a home to live in not for show lol like some people say. and like you said it too. “ life happens” and sometimes you just rather sit all day and stare at my baby all day, or play board games with my older boys. Now I tell myself And know for fact that we as mother do a lot and are super woman. ☺️

Having had the winter”crud” since Christmas the kitchen floor needed a good hands and knees scub. So I put chicken on to cook to make chicken and noodles. Chicken cooked frig. cleaned out ,vegetables on to simmer for noodles.The DARN vegetables scorched in my LeCreuset pan!!!My day went out the window! I used to do all my cooking cleaning all the things while caring for my babies,yes the last we’re twins. I had friends tell me the didn’t know how I did everything. I never thought I ever had anything together.You got it together as a mom and we never appreciate ourselves during the time we go the deep.Good job Kim! 😘😂❤️

I love all your videos, I watch lots of you tube videos, but this video was by far one of the best videos I've ever seen. You are how all people should be, you just make me feel so good about myself. I am always so hard on myself and never think I do enough even though I am always trying my best, I am my own worst critic. But listening to you, you made me feel like I can take a breath and be ok with everything! Thank you so much I love listening to you talk you are great! I just can't put into words how great you are!

I watched this, not knowing for sure what it would be and it is seriously exactly what I needed. I have been beating myself up about not having time to deep clean my house or catch up on laundry and this reminded me that I’m only human, and that’s okay. thank you, so much.

I know this was filmed a year ago but I just recently stumbled across one of your videos and haven’t stopped watching them since. I really enjoyed this one. I didn’t watch much of the actual video because I was folding laundry but loved the voice over. I have 2 under 2 right now and this is definitely hard stage of life. Thank you for the encouragement.

I love your "talks"! I so enjoy your laugh and sense of humor. It's very refreshing and uplifting. I'm in the empty nest stage of life, so I don't necessarily "tune in" because I'm in the same place you are in life, but I enjoy watching everything you post because you're always so upbeat and positive. I'm a Grandma now, so of course I love seeing what your kids are up to and I can relate back to that time in my life. And like everyone says, don't blink because they'll be grown before you know it...it's true! Enjoy every moment you can. Living in a clean home is important, but it doesn't have to be perfectly neat and organized at all times. I used to say all the time (and still do to this day) WE LIVE HERE...it's not a model home. Keep up the good work, because you're doing a great job!

I love your videos because you talk to us like we are sitting right in you're living room. I think you're awesome and all of your kids are so precious. I love how real you are about the mess and about different things going on in your life! Sending lots of love your way for the new year!!

Oh thank you for your pep talk about being good enough! I also have a newborn and I didn’t realize how poorly I was feeling about myself and all the negative self talk I’ve had going through my head lately. Good job cleaning! I watched you clean while I fed baby. You rock!

I am not usually a commenter but holy moly did I need this. Thank you for your words, and your videos. I am so glad I stumbled across your channel looking for natural birth advice. I am currently drowning in a sea of clutter, trying to get rid of as much as possible before we move our family out of this much too small space into a slightly larger apartment. Your voice overs are my favorite, I have been binging your videos as I clean and it has helped me feel like not such a failure for letting all of these skeletons in my closet pile up. Thank you❤
