CLEANING YOUR GRACO AIRLESS GUN FILTERS

We've all been there... and if you haven't yet, you're going to experience this at least once when spraying airless! If you're between jobs, using paint that hasn't properly been mixed and strained, or simply experiencing some sediment that gets through the airless sprayer, your gun will clog mid-spraying.
To keep delivering perfect airless finishes, keep your filters clean! Here's a tutorial on how to clean and check your filters for any potential clogs.

Hey bro love your videos I’m from the central coast 🤙🏽 I have the graco magnum pro x17 I’m having trouble understanding how to spray the dulux weathershields through smaller orifices like a 310 tip. Ive tried spraying my gutters with a 310 tip using dulux weather shield but it keeps clogging and leaving tails down the sides of spray pattern. I’ve read that I don’t need to thin the paint down. So how would you go about spraying exterior paint through smaller tips? Do you thin the paint? Cheers

Hey bro appreciate you watching. Not to far from newy🙏 that don't sound right, weathershield ant the thickest of products it should be pumping pretty easy. Silly question you got it pressure all the way up? Have you checked the machine and gun filters? I never water down my paint bro you really shouldn't have to. I spray all my exterior trim with a 308 using weathershield so it definitely has to be the machine. I'm sure the X17 Max is 3000psi is that correct?

Hey josh. Love the vids mate. I've spray painted an electric shutter with dulux high gloss (navy) ontop of dulux supergrip primer. I sanded the shutter before paint and prime but I went back the next day and there's patches where paint has smudged of and you can see little white marks from when the shutter opens. Any idea why this has this occurred mate.

Hello. Scribed. I just got myself a 210es. I used to paint a little and I really just wanted something semi nice to replace the 440 I had back in the day, that was stolen. I really would like to have a tip/gun, to spray 6 payne and 9 payne (etc) windows. (I just clean windows with a razor blade.) I can’t find anything like that on Amazon, for anything. Can you tell me how I need to direct my search?

Hey Josh, while you are on the subjects of sprayguns. Next week I'll buy first unit for the business. I was looking at the 495 ultra max. Is that a good all round unit? Or the new 650 pc pro? Also would you recommend hi boy version or lowboy. I am new to spraying. Cheers

It all depends on what you can afford and what sort of work you'll be spraying. If you're doing more roofs here and there, I'd recommend the 650PC Pro over the 495PC anyday as it has a bit more grunt. But if you're in and out of repaints all week, 495PC can be more compact and easier to cart around. Hi-Boy is great for the stainless suction tube, but depending on how you're transporting the sprayer can get a bit tricky if you don't have a lot of space. Easier to clean than the flexible suction hose however. Hope this helps man, feel free to ask any questions or hit up the guys from GO Industrial, they'll hook you up 🙌🏼

Awesome cheers for the reply mate. There isn't a massive price difference between the 495 and the 650pc so will look more towards the 650pc.
