I gotta point out that, for all that Helldivers die en masse, it's gotta be insane from the enemies side. There's just these fucking crazy assholes that appear from the sky, absolutely murder everything that is thrown at them, and whenever one dies another comes down in a trashcan and starts killing.

The other thing to consider is the K/D ratios. A single Helldiver (if we discount those who die within 10 seconds of dropping in.) does night terror inducing amounts of damage, and the SEAF are willing to throw them away by the score to get the job done.

With said trashcan landing on top of the biggest asset the baddies have, killing it instantly. Makes me wonder if the commie-bots feal fear before lights out. I hope so. Democracy protects.

Really gets you thinking that Helldivers usually have what 24 expected lives. So for the cost of an expected 24 Helldivers you usually get 1000s of enemy casualties, multiple objectives completed, multiple enemy outposts destroyed, more intel on the planet, sometimes A NUKE GOES OFF somewhere else on the planet no doubt killing more enemies.

I mean, Helldivers are essentially the concept of a Forward Air Controller taken to the most insane possible conclusion. Very Vietnam tactics, draw the enemy towards a relatively lightly armoured squad and use overwhelming firepower when they're out in the open

I know nobody cares but, will tell you a little story. About the Shield of Vigilance squad. Me and my friends custom Helldiver's unit. I am still very new to the game and at the point i was LvL 10 space cadet, and me and my veteran friends jumped into a Helldive difficulty nest clearing mission. It was going well, a little too well. Nobody had really died and we made it to the extract in good time. Then as the counter reach 1 min remaining....I saw in the distance 6 Bile Titans incoming.....We fought hard...But even General Brasch would have fallen to the bugs might.

My current favorite loadout is the scythe, the jetpack and the grenade launcher. I can just run around lasering stuff and if I fire in bursts and with moderation I’m fine so ammo is rarely a concern, I can enter enemy encampments and quickly destroy them with the grenade launcher, it is truly an incredible loadout
