Wow Javo, you were calm, concise, and very informative in your video. I have a 2010 Lexus RX 450h that was not garaged for 2 years in the Berkshires. This resulted in a fungus that only grew on the side mirrors and the bra area. I have successfully removed the protective covering from the side mirrors, but the bra seems to be a real dilemma for me. It was started by a detailer who really didnt know what he was doing and resulted in an unsightly mess. I have been reinvigorated by watching your precise detailed video. Thanks for taking the time and sharing with the rest of us. Yay for you and KZbin!!!!!!.

Javo, we miss you. Are you ok? It's been a while. We're worried about you. We hope you're doing well & just busy with your life, but in times like these, it's good to check up on each other. Hope to hear from you or see a new video very soon. 🥰

Precious Freedom - How nice of you, thank you!! I am doing great! Good news, bad news - Good news is I've been shooting tons of video for some time of many different projects; the bad news is I just haven't had the time to sit down and edit my videos. I'm about 2 weeks out from finishing my current project (a full engine rebuild) and then hope to take a few weeks off to work on editing some videos. I literally have hundreds of hours of footage so at some point I'll be putting a huge amount of content. I REALLY appreciate you touching base with me and checking up, that is too kind!

I loved watching your method evolve through the job. This is usually how I do it in real life- try something that kind of works but is too slow and keep experimenting. By the end you look like a pro who does this every day 😄

Great video. Thank you! Looks like heat is best for vinyl removal and a solvent for left over adhesive. I've liked 3M Adhesive Remover for other chores and may try that before gasoline. Thanks again...very helpful.

I'm sorry for the delay Paul, I've been away for a while (as you can tell). Thank you for the compliment on the video. I haven't tried 3m Adhesive Remover, I may have to sometime. Heat was definitely the trick here with this. Sorry for the delay again. I really do appreciate you stopping by and taking a moment to leave me a comment.

Hi. Any idea why my 06 Town and Country sliding doors wont open by the handles? Both open and close from the remote or dash buttons but not from the handle? You can still open them manually from the door handle. Child lock is off. Dash door control is on. I figured it has to be something related to the door handle. A switch. A ground problem. Something. Lmk if you have any advice. Thank you

Hi Javo. I could not find your email address on here, so I am just hoping that you're still checking comments on your latest video. I would say that your channel's most popular video is due for a sequel. ;-) Your tutorial on building a garage storage lift is fantastic, however I am interested in building one inside my New York apartment, for storing a full-sized bed. New York apartments are famously small, and being able to press a button to lift my bed to the ceiling would be a great help. I don't believe I would need to build the wooden platform, as I suspect I could just use a metal bed frame, though lining the bottom of it with drop-ceiling panels, might help me better hide the bed once it is up in the air. My concern is that the video you did create, while incredibly impressive, it was a bit hard for me, a person with no real handy-work experience, to follow, if just because it seemed like you were discovering things while you were making the video, and as your ceiling was not a smooth surface, it was harder for me to make out exactly what the set up was. If you were at all interested in filming a follow up video with an installation, that is a bit more detailed, I would very much appreciate it and I expect it would be another very popular upload. Oh and if you live near New York and I can entice you to film that follow-up in my apartment, even better ;-)

Hello Jay, I apologize for the delayed response to your comment. First, you're correct. This video is due for an update, and I have one in the works. I still have a lot of work to do with it, but it is coming soon. It's hard to say whether using the metal frame would work. I would look to a different solution because the metal frame is not designed to be suspended, so the stress points may be other than intended, causing a failure. I hope that makes sense. IMHO, a built platform would support the mattress and a mounting surface for the ceiling tiles you mentioned (great idea, by the way). You are correct in your observation of "discovering along the way." All my projects evolve from my original vision as I see improvements to my original design idea. That's a good thing because implementation often differs from my project visualization. I have had several requests to get into the pulley system in greater detail rather than the platform, so I will do that in this next video. I'm sorry, but I am a long way from New York; otherwise, it would be fun to tackle a different application of this project. I wish you the best, and I appreciate your compliments. Thank you for stopping by!

Any chance for doing another buyers guide for the latest generation Caravan and Town and Country?
@javosgarage
@javosgarage Жыл бұрын
Hello MeliorIlle. I would really like to do one of those and I'm sorry but I don't see that particular video in my near future. I purchased a 2005 Town & Country Limited to make videos with and I'm planning to finish out that series with probably another 30-40 videos on various repairs and improvements with those vans. I plan to start on the next generation once that series is complete. I appreciate you stopping by and taking a moment to leave me a comment. Thank you!

I used the cooking oil method on those stickers when they put a sticker on your window. It's a paper sticker but if you soak it with the cooking oil let it sit for a minute it just wipes off that sticker adhesive very easily

I've had them put that sticker on my window before when I parked at somebody's apartment and it's the big sticker that ends up being on your glass

Hi Javo, im impressed about your knowledge. We come to USA in February and want to buy a caravan. Can't find your business online. Is there anyway to contact you. You have something in stock?

Hello Steffendgr. First off, thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately I can't help you because I decided to close my dealership. I was tired of the "nature of the business" and we are planning to move to a different state so it all worked out and the timing is good. I'm sorry I can't help you. Hopefully my video on "What To Look For When Buying A Town & Country or Grand Caravan - A Buyer's Guide" will provide you with some good information to make the proper choice. Here's a link to that video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXa7eXmkiMSoa7M Good luck to you, I wish you the very best.

Very true, but would require just a tad more buffing at the end to get that factory luster back in the paint. LOL Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to leave me a comment - I appreciate it even though I'm late.

Hello AZ F. I apologize for the long delay, I've been away from YT for a while (as you can tell). Unfortunately, I am not near Idaho. Quite frankly I also let my dealer license expire when all of the Covid "thing" was starting so I am no longer a dealer. I had been thinking of getting of out that dirty business and it was a good time to do it because I could tell my dealership would have been shut down for quite some time. I'm sorry, I wish I could help you. I do thank you for the compliments and blessings, it's much appreciated.
