Gentlemen thank you first of all for your focus, energy and sacrifice on behalf of our country. NOW as a cop's wife 21 years, diagnosed Depression / Anxiety and PTSD, I will not apply for a gun permit. I could've and it would've been run through, but I chose not to out of ethics. Safe gun use, carry and confinement are hugely important. If this makes sense, I took it so seriously I didn't apply for a permit, knowing my diagnoses. We need to have a data base of individuals that are considered a risk to themselves and others connected to the background checks of gun buying. Proper gun safety / use is soo critically important that shouldn't even be a discussion about mental health risks reported to background checks.
