Heartbreaking. When we moved here in 1968 the beaches were wide open. No condo's. They ruined all of the beaches from Clearwater to Pass-a-Grill from over- building. Praying for all the people who lost everything. Build affordable housing but off of the beaches.

Yes...born and raised here 1966. I met my now wife of 36 years on Clearwater Beach. Was so nice for the locals back then. Before they made it a tourist destination. Sad to see what it's become.

20 years ago my husband and I used to go and sit in an outdoor restaurant and watch the sunset. But that building is not there. Was replaced. Last time we tried to go we couldn’t find a parking space. But it will always be a special place.

You would be surprised, a hurricane like this just brings money into the local economy, all those small businesses going to make a killing in the next couple months, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart they going to sell like never before. It’s weird I know but it’s 100% fact. This is the time to own a skid steer 😂

@@deathnsd6953 I feel sad about it too. My husband and I spent our first weekend there so it is a special place. When I go out to the coast I go to Fort De Soto park. It’s a stunning place but now we have to wait awhile.

Heels Up has done so many great things for Americans! I just can't think of anything right now. BUT, here's some things she hasn't done: lower grocery costs, lower gas costs, lower rent costs, lowered taxes, secured America's borders, helped bring peace to two wars, lowered murders, rapes or thefts in America

TEARS OF SORROW 2024!! The storms of life come to everyone There are none who are immune. Some approach in our later years While others come too soon. Helene hit like an atom bomb Consuming the helpless in its path. The waters of the deep surged forth Flooding everything with their wrath. Conviction is our emotional union As we weather the storms of Earth. Thank God for His amazing grace Which helps us reveal our worth. Time wipes tears from all faces Whose hearts are tuned to sorrow. Those that cry a thousand tears Shall be blessed by tomorrow. By Tom Zart!
