Alpha just wants to end the cult so she can go back to living with cid and her sisters just like when they were younger. But sometimes, she wishes to go back when it was just 2 of them. If u read alpha's little backstory in volume 6. U will realise that before beta joining them, they lived pretty much as husband and wife. Alpha's only mistake was that she was dead set on having new members, because cid was pretty fine with its just being 2 of them.

Zeta sensing something wrong literally interrupt these two. I can imagine Alpha using this chance to spend more time with Cid, and Zeta is not letting her have all the fun.
