This is the beauty of Starcraft: Clem's dominant road to victory makes him the new meta by default. Other top players will now be focused predominantly on countering Clem's playstyle, something I'm sure Serral understood and felt personally the past few years. Clem will now have to evolve and stay ahead of his own meta...! Heavy is the clown of he who wears it at the goat level.

These two are so well matched, it's exciting to watch their games. Clem's becoming so good now that he's beating up on everybody except for Reynor. Their styles just match so well, making the game much more even than other pairings involving Clem - even Serral can't do as well against Clem as Reynor now, surprisingly. There used to be a time that Reynor loses to Clem often but Serral wins against Clem in all offline events except for one.

Man I am a terran player, and even I think the MMM combination is waaaay to broken, the way you can either do hit and run tactics, or group together for a big push, its way to powerful. I think in order to fix this we need to NERF PROTOSS

Clem is not good... he just plays terran! Why does a parasitic bomb not deal enough damage to kill a medivac but its fine that snipe 1-shots dropalords without a chance of unloading? Parasitic bom is damage over time and medivacs have boost. Why does neural parasite not work on loaded medivacs, but snipe does on dropalords? Why is the ghost the fastest building caster unit in the game? Why is it ok that ghosts cost only 125 gas - a unit that can cloak, nuke, snipe and EMP - while vipers, infestors, templars or ravens all cost more? Why does only protoss and terran have hard counters to ghosts but zerg does not? This once wonderful example of RTS has turned to shit.

Terran has so much low cost apm cheese units like mines and liberators. Also it's wild that marines shreds the hatches like nothing. You need 100apm more to keep up.... And don't let me start with ghosts 😂

Yep, you are about the only one. Watch Bellum Gens Stara Zagora, wider variety of players and some crazy strats up until now. Maybe you just haven't watched as much. I'm watching since 2010 and there's always something new. The thing in this specific matchup is that Clem always plays standard vs. Serral and Reynor.

But he is not winning everything. He had a monster run on that tournament, by all means, but he is a long way to go to reach like of Serral. Same thing with Oliveira last year, he seemed unbeatable.

​@@dinkobilic9078 You didn't check WTL map scores. Clem didn't lose a single map (against MaxPax, herO, spirit, Gerald, Harstem, Lambo, Byun, Showtime) except against Reynor. Clem is on another level now - he was in fact losing against MaxPax/herO/Serral before the EWC but haven't lost during EWC and since. I don't think the balance team would be so stupid to nerf anything due to Clem's unparalleled skills, but certainly a lot of zerg and toss whiners been calling for heads LOL. The zerg whiners forgot that Serral, Reynor have been dominating the international scene for years and based on their pathetic logic zerg should've been nerfed to the basement to be fair. Truly disgusting whiners.
