One reason for a late game Phoenix is because the Phoenix can pick up a burrowed Lurker, and even just drop it, and it returns to the ground unburrowed. So it can be a handy trick sometimes.

fairly sure he got it as a direct response to easily clear the overseer hanging in the deadspace dropping nydus in his main (25:56 ingame), and then went around the map clearing some more overlords just so he didnt have to deal with any weird random nydus/ling runbys

The Phoenixes? Well, you can make them fast at least and there were a lot of air upgrades. (Edit: Also supply-efficient. Perhaps they did fit in at the moment.) He was trying to warp in DTs vs the Ultras, but he couldn't send back the Tempests to clean up the Overseers perhaps (?) Stalkers wouldn't have been reliable with Ultras on the ground. But Voidrays would have made as much sense if not more, I think.

I really love and hate players like Scarlett and Astrea for instance. the big brain move isn't so much the recall as it is killing her own tumors while leaving the probe alive (also that's why if you sacrifice a worker you should make it attack stuff so they're forced to engage with it =p)

SPOILER ALERT: Amazing game and such a smart thought of Scarlett to realize she can steal the probe when protosses are throwing away their probes. Then you will just need one neural probably as well =D EDIT: Yes, that looks very staged in the replay though. But it is still possible to do probably.

Its very possible to do in real game as well, considering how players will send their worker to the opponent bases to sacrifice for more army supply, you can definitely catch one with an Infestor. The question is how helpful that would be for Zerg, you dont have time and money to tech up too much and have to make units that can change the game. Imo, Zerg abducting an SCV and building up to a couple of Medivac would be insane. Imagine Hydralisk drop with healing and quick movement.
