Oh my goodness Anthony, what great going, almost 24 miles is some going in 9 hours! I bet you enjoyed your evening meal, well deserved!👍

It was certainly a tough day. The first 10 miles were extremely tough as there were so many elevation changes. It’s a great walk though and I’d highly recommend it

Another great video, Really enjoyed it. Like your positivity, especially when the walk is getting tough! Nicely shot. Well done on such a long walk, being on our door step we know how hard the 20 miles NYM walks can be! Not to be underestimated. Gonna binge watch some of the content, all the best with your virtual Cleveland way too!

Thanks guys. That was the toughest days walking I’ve ever done. 24 miles up and down a rollercoaster. Also one of the best days hiking I’ve done to. You are so blessed to live so close to the North York Moors. I was blown away with how beautiful it was, particularly as all the heather was in bloom too 🙂

I plan on doing this early next year . Do you mean the second day is always the hardest when aching? or do you mean Osmotherley to Great Ayton is the most difficult part of the Cleveland way walk?

Enjoying watching your hike keep it up! If you get a chance definitely stop at Whitby Yh as it’s an absolutely beautiful building and grounds plus the food and coffee there is excellent. I’m wanting to do a reverse circular of this starting and ending at Osmotherly soon so interested to see how you find it 😃

Gareth Turner thanks Gareth. I’m stopping at YHA Whitby. Sounds like I’ve chosen well. If I manage to complete the trail, I’ll probably do some kind of summary video of my experiences when I’m back home to help others who are planning the trail.

Day two and you've cracked, not your spirit but your goals! I know it's tough to keep motivated, doubt is the biggest thief of dreams so please stay positive, you have made me come home from work and watch your progress before I get the kettle on! Rest the shin if needed, taking a day longer and doing the walk is better than giving in. Song choices: Reach S Club 7 and A creepy Every step you take By that guy from the Police. Ice creams on the coast are waiting... See you tomorrow

Phil Foster thanks Phil and thanks for the song selections. I’ll put them in the mix for the rest of the walk. The shin is still sore but I’m stretching it every night and it’s still going ok. It’s a shame I’ve not got time to add in a rest day, otherwise I’d definitely be doing that

You took a couple of bite size chunks out of the walk. It's a tough section Ossy to Hasty.

If feels like the walk has taken a couple of bite size chunks out of me too ha ha. Thanks for watching and encouraging me. It’s much appreciated 👍

Are all the YHA's only allowing single room occupancy due to Covid? I'm not sure anymore.

achtungpanzer182 I think so. I think they open the dorms in certain circumstances though
