A nice 12 miler there Anthony, breaking up the otherwise 20 plus miler days, you are doing a sterling job! Walking poles are indeed so useful and yes, we too forget the sunblock from time to time!😎👍

Thanks. The shorter day was definitely needed. Definitely wished I listened to my wife and use the poles from the start. She knows best 😆

We loved our hike up and around Roseberry Topping made me think of 'I can see for miles' by The Who. Good luck with the next grueling stages.

Thanks very much. Roseberry Topping is great. It dominates the horizon on day 1 and 2 as it gets closer and closer into view

Nice video Anothony, really enjoyed it. Regret not starting with episode one, but I’m gonna watch them all in order. Made me laugh a few times, looked a nice day.

It was certainly an interesting experience. Full of highs and lows. Glad I did daily videos as I wanted something to look back on. I’m going to watch them all again myself during lockdown as I’ve not watched them back since I edited and posted them. Thanks very much for watching 🙂

Been going up Roseberry Topping since I was a kid and (I think) it was my first video of 2020 (who would have thought about a virus hitting us all), so I need to check that out. Looks like you had a canny day for and good to see the rain stopped away. I have used poles for the last 5 years, good for my knees and brilliant for stability. Always nice when you first see the sea, always a boost to the spirit and a nice place to finish 12 miles, cheers Alan

Hey Alan. Thanks for popping on by and checking out my video. It was my first time up Roseberry Topping and I must say that I was very impressed. The Cleveland Way as a whole was fantastic even if the experience was a bit mixed. I’ll take a look at your videos as I notice you have a channel too. I’ll probably start with your own video of Roseberry Topping. Thanks for watching 🙂

Just catching up with your'e adventure Anthony & looks like you're having a good one..some familiar parts there for me iv'e done a fair bit of walking & camping round there.walked a lot of the area round the kilburn white horse & sutton bank also camped at kirby bank, wainstones & a place you will have walked by on day 3 called newton moor,we camped just off the path & had a cracking view of roseberry topping. bet those B&B stops are a great relief mate a proper bath, bed & a good meal can only do good for the morale.keep it up mate & good luck for the rest of the trip.Andy.

thanks Andy. Really enjoying it. The weather has definitely helped as 9 hour days in torrential rain would probably be less fun. Glad I chose the B&B option as I doubt I’d have been able to cover the distances with a heavier pack. The YHA’s are almost as basic as camping mind 😆. Thanks for watching

Nigel Harness I managed to get my fish and chips at Whitby yesterday. Had to walk past them all to get to the YHA so thought it would be rude not to stop for some 😆

Day 3 and your spirits have been lifted, a great section of the walk too. What camera and setup are you using? You have inspired me to get my gopro out which only sees use on holiday for snorkeling. Song choice... Emma by Hot Chocolate Keep a good pace tomorrow and look after the shin.
