It’s good to slow down. If there’s a seat with a view, sit on it 👍 Looks like you are having great weather. Enjoy.

Busy day yesterday so I forgot to post a comment. Wow! What a spectacular view and great weather too. You deserve that ice cream. It really has been great watching your journey, the walking one and the personal one. Great news about the daughters job, just brilliant. Enjoy day 5, enjoy all the emotions it will bring too!

Phil Foster hi Phil. I’ve loved filming the journey. It’s been great to capture what I’ve been thinking at various stages. On these 10 hour days, a lot goes through the mind! Just a shame day 5 didn’t end as well as I’d hoped and I couldn’t finish the walk. Really pleased you’ve enjoyed watching. It means a lot that people have watched me along the way and enjoyed some of the waffle!

Thanks very much. Day 4 was extremely tough. I think the previous 3 days efforts were catching up with me by then. The amazing weather and scenery kept me going though 👍

Well done Anthony. You soldiered on mate with good humor, which is what's needed on a tough trail. Like most hard trails though there's inspiration to and that comes from supporters and that great scenery. Good on you for doing your cool down. Keeping the muscles long and not tight is imperative. Good going. Mark

Wye Explorer thanks Mark. I’d decided a positive mindset throughout was key, no matter how tough things got. After all, I was out doing something I love and not sat behind a desk at work so I kept reminding myself of that. Thanks for watching. As always, it’s very much appreciated. I’m going to watch part 2 of your video that you sent me tonight. Looking forward to it 👍

@@AnthonyJohnson1 Hey Anthony - that's all we can do isn't it? As they say in the states, 'embrace the suck.' A pleasure to watch. I'm enjoying these. Yeah part 2 is good. Peace dude.

Tea In Valhalla thanks very much. Lily’s news was very welcoming as it was the toughest section to get through mentally. Glad you’ve enjoyed the waffle 👍

That leg looked tough, love that coastline. I always find a paved or road section at the end of the walk extremely difficult. Good going finishline insight.
@AnthonyJohnson14 жыл бұрын
thejarvs outdoors it was very tough, particularly the last 3 miles along the road to Whitby. Those rock hard paths probably finished things off for the shin!

How long did it take you to complete this walk I’m planning on doing it soon well done
@AnthonyJohnson12 жыл бұрын
Hi Laura. I walked the Cleveland Way over 6 days. That did include a few 20 mile days though to get it completed within that time. There are plenty of overnight options along the way if you wanted to walk it over a longer period. Hope you enjoy the Cleveland Way. It’s a fab trail
