From what I’ve read down in the comments. The victim was an 11 year old girl who was raped, it seems that she had mistaken this innocent man for the rapist. There were also several eyewitnesses who claimed that too. Lastly, the old semen dna test from the police decided that this man was the rapist, so I’m guessing it was ultimately the polices’ fault and their unreliable dna test.

If it would be that easy okay, but the girl who accused him was 11 yrs old and it was probably just a mistake of the kid and not on purpose, so 29 yrs would be hardcore. And the judge is just doing his job, and if the judge has no evidence to prove he is not guilty which obviously was the case he/she has to send him to prison, so not really the fault of the judge.
