Joe was played this little club in Thousand Oaks, CA in 1985 or 86. It was attached to a bowling alley Ray Charles, Newgrass Revival and some others had played there. It was a good club. Waddy Wachtel played with him. Joe got so drunk that not only could he not finish the show he ended up vomiting his guts out in the parking lot. We were in the parking lot not far away walking to our car. I remember thinking his career was over and that he would OD sometime in the future. SO glad he pulled out of that. He's a remarkable guy and still making great music.

Every good Stones album, every fuckin Aerosmith album. ALL. Originally. The only one that kept it up was Lou. Dunno when he got clean. Look it up. Even Lennon got smacked up with Keif. Not sure of the dates, but, John wrote a few hits under the influence.
